Yup. Like has been said before, he clearly knows is stuff otherwise Cortese would've booted him out long ago. He was the only one on the board with any football knowledge so I'm glad we've got him. The only slight question mark for me is the Cork/J-Rod & maybe Clyne contract scenarios.

^ Ha! Was just thinking along similar lines. I was so happy when Rickie/Jay/Adam got their call up's last season, but after the summer we just had and hearing about Gerrard's little chats with them, I just can't get that excited by an England call-up any more.

I'd be happy with 7th-10th. I think Liverpool's form will be dependent on Sturridge staying fit.

The agreed fee in the contract is certainly (hopefully) low enough to entice them to buy him. Would be a massive saving in wages as well - Here's hoping it goes through at the end of the season.
