  1. Carly Baker, UFC Ring Girl. (FYI).
  2. I'm adding "de-boot" as my favourite Koemanism after that
  3. Hopefully we're scouting central midfielder's like crazy and find a better one than Taider.
  4. Yeah, didn't we sign Morgan on the recommendation of Georges Prost?
  5. Since most expect Morgan to leave in the summer, It makes the decision not to have signed Corky up even more odd.
  6. "After I refused to play the friendly against Leverkusen on August 9? The chairman came to tell me he will let me have the weekend to think about it. I talked to a lot of people. Some told me to start a trail of strength, to go on strike, that the club will finally give up. But it was like tossing a coin. My agents never told me to go on strike, they just told me to make my decision. I also felt the officials will not let me leave. They would have preferred to put me on the side-lines for 6 months. So I resumed training-sessions, I really needed to play football again and I played against Liverpool. At Anfield, all the Southampton fans applauded me and chanted my name. It was so heart-warming. So I knew I would spend the whole season at Southampton."
  7. Rafa Silva loosely linked again. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/southampton-in-portugal-for-the-portuguese-hazard-on-sunday
  8. Possibly. I think we will see what he's made of if Pelle gets injured.
  9. Fair point - What stood out for me is how the hell Watford are getting more commercial revenue than us!
  10. That back-heel assist was alright

  12. I might be dreaming this, but wasn't it because our incoming manager (Poch) wanted Osvaldo and because of the future cost of him we had to sign a cheaper alternative defender to the one we had actually wanted?
  13. Yup. Like has been said before, he clearly knows is stuff otherwise Cortese would've booted him out long ago. He was the only one on the board with any football knowledge so I'm glad we've got him. The only slight question mark for me is the Cork/J-Rod & maybe Clyne contract scenarios.
  14. What a fantastic article. Enjoyed reading that. Excellent work Mr Wilson.
  15. If he had a consistent run with us, he'd be in IMO.
  16. ^ Ha! Was just thinking along similar lines. I was so happy when Rickie/Jay/Adam got their call up's last season, but after the summer we just had and hearing about Gerrard's little chats with them, I just can't get that excited by an England call-up any more.
  17. I'd be happy with 7th-10th. I think Liverpool's form will be dependent on Sturridge staying fit.
  18. He's ill apparently.
  19. We were linked with him back in the day, I believe.
  20. The agreed fee in the contract is certainly (hopefully) low enough to entice them to buy him. Would be a massive saving in wages as well - Here's hoping it goes through at the end of the season.
  21. I hate Tommy Forecast threads, primarily because it makes me re-live the whole ordeal all over again! What a shocker it was (and still is!)

    Mane

I think this guy is going to be mustard for us. The back-heel assist was sublime. Don't think I've seen him crack a smile yet though!
  23. So happy to get that win yesterday - their win against us a couple of seasons ago still haunts me! What a f*cking goal from Pelle too. Fantastic stuff.
  24. Spot on Charlie. They play some good stuff down there, and for them to be playing together, with the team doing well is going to be great for their development.
  25. Uh-oh - Not the infamous 5 year contract!
