Teams in this division are coming to St Marys and thinking that this is a really big game for them. I was speaking to 2 Brentford fans before the game and they said that this was like a big cup game for them and they were looking forward to playing a really big team like Southampton. If an investor is looking to buy a premier league club, the wise way would be to buy a club in shoutings reach of promotion from the championship at say aprox 40M including a decent ground, and invest £20M in players to achieve their goal. With an additional 20M in transfer funds the next year, for possibly 80M you have a premier league club with a chance of staying there if not you will at least get the 3 year parachute payments that will pay you back a large percentage of your outlay.
