Lets start a campaign for all Saints fans to send an Xmas card to Markus, can you imagine the media response if they found out that Markus had been sent 25,000 xmas cards from the fans, a small gesture, only 40p per fan but think of the publicity that it would generate and the sense of beloning that Markus would get.

Cant remember what year it was but I can recall having trouble and having to leg it through someone's front door, through the living room out the back door and over the back fence, the look on their faces as 3 lads legged it through their house was a classic.

What about our own Supermac, Ted MacDougal

God was that, that match, I remember being there, what a poo hole that ground was.

A work mate of mine broke his arm or leg (so long I can't remember) when the wall went down. God it was packed that night nearly everyone I knew who was a Saints fan was there.

Player of the season is going to be one intersting time this year, will be between Lambert, Hammond, Jadi and Harding. But we have yet to find out how Conolly is going to pan out.

Condolences to Ron, may his wife be at rest now

Well thought out post Anybody that thinks it is acceptable to defend a mindless thug that has kicked another human being in the head just because he wears a Saints shirt is just ludicrous, as has been said by others where does it stop. Where do they draw the line. Is it acceptable for this so called saints fan to nick your wallet, nick your car, rob your house, knife your mate, rape your girlfriend, fiddle with your children, Have I reached the line yet well they are saints fans, ok let go for gold how about when they turn up with a gun and shoot the opposition fans because they are real hard, come on they were a bit gobby and they did deserve it. But we wont grass the murderer because he is a saints fan, have i reached the line YET. I'm sorry it is not giving a "slap", I was given a so called "slap" a few years ago because some mindless thug thought I had looked at him in the pub, and in his inebriated state he thought it was ok, he didn't care that i had just got out of hospital after having major heart surgery 3 weeks earlier, but SRS it was OK I must have deserved it because he was a saints fan and the tw*ts on here would not have grassed him up. Any thug that gives another human being a slap just because supports another team deserves his jail sentence football banning order, loss of job and all the associated problems that happens with the jail sentence be he a saints fan, yeovil fan or fan of any club. I hope they catch the thugs involved and put them away for a long time. I certainly do not want togo back to the days when people were afraid of taking their children to football, I am looking in a few years time to taking my grandson to football, and do not want us to go back to having a reputation of a "good club for a scrap with" and so bringing the undesirables that think it acceptable to give a "slap" to any person wearing a football shirt that does not match theirs.

And of course would NC even allow permission to speak to AP

Strange ole Chicken George as George Lawrence was to be come known as a result of a TV program ROOTS, nowadays we would be called racists for the name that he was associated with. To my knowlege when ever he was in my local pub he was never offended by the name.

Perhaps we could get the swear filter to blank him out -
I know its not what was asked but, at that game We had a coach at the front of the queue and had to walk up the hill, we counted over 100 coaches that day. God that was a great day out, oh happy days. Was there at Dellhurst Park, and Leyton Orient when promotion was achieved, best mid week away support I have EVER seen in my 44 years of going to saints matches.
-
I was there on the mid week game when we got promoted and the wall fell down that night and a work mate broke his leg, but we did get promoted.

As the Monkees said "Now I'm a believer"

If you get stopped, tell him your a transexual and stop be genderist

Papa will soon be having 2 defenders on him at all time and this will mean that there are less defenders to mark Lallana and Lambert, which will mean goals from them. Thought the 3 upfront worked very well today. IMHO the only slightly weak link today was James, can not wait till Murty is back.

Find it hard to reconcile that a man would supposedly buy a club and invest his money be it not very much and then put them into admin and lose all his money, something does not add up here!!!!!
-
IIRC Strachan was really upset proffessionally when he was relegated at Coventry and has stated he would know when to walk away from a club as he has with us and Celtic, would he really want to risk that humilliation by going to Skateville and have all the hard work he has done since Coventry undone by taking on a disater in the making.

No nothing wrong, I do it all the time and my wife complains that I have not shouted it loud enough

Whats the greater odds of less than 20 points at the end of the season
-
With their average gate this season of 14,886 including the one League cup game. Great gates for a premiership club.

Time for our season to start / league table to watch

Go on a long unbeaten winning run like Sunderland and miracles can happen !!! -
Wasn't at the game, but considering we were playing a team that had won 6 out of 6. I am well happy with a point away to them. Onwards and upwards as they say. Keep the faith, it will happen
