No a goalkeeper prevents us from losing unless like Shilton he scores a goal, if the strikers does not score we don't win regardless how well the goalkeeper plays. In a penalty shootout he still prevents us from losing the striker has to put the ball in the net for us to win

Some of our younger players may well be looking at the fact they are playing first team football and not rotting in the reserves, hence the main reason they will want to stay and continue their development until a time we are in a higher league or they can move to a team that will virtually guarantee them first team football all the time.

Disagree entirely, as the flag had not gone up when the Tranmere player headed the ball, he was played onside and therefore the decision was wrong by the linesman. The linesman did not have his flag up before the Tranmere player headed the ball

Just got back Ref and linesmen were awful, how the ref did not send off the player who handballed the ball for the penalty I will never know. Most blatant red card I have ever seen, at first we thought it was the goalkeeper claiming the ball, but as he went to ground we realised it was an outfield player. Shocking decision by the ref. Papa was given offside after their player played the ball and he was on for a fourth goal. Thought Antonio was very poor today, would have bought on papa a lot earlier.

Went to the companies Xmas dinner last night at the Meon Marriot and as I walked into the hotel, who were walking through the foyer on their way to the restaurant but the Tranmere Rovers squad, suggested to a few of the lads staying the night at the hotel that an accidental setting off of the fire alarm at 4.00am would not harm the lads giving Tranmere a good thrashing today :)
