  1. So anyone who is sold isn't a top player.....
  2. Victor Wanyama Street in Tanzania axed after a day http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-40403038
  3. Ha can you imagine the melt down on here if we had done that....
  4. just read the same article A move for a second left-back – and fourth full-back in total – following the departures of Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna and Gaël Clichy is not thought to be a priority with Guardiola satisfied that Aleksandar Kolarov, who has 12 months left on his contract, can provide cover at left-back as well as centre-half. Kolarov has raised the prospect of returning to Lazio when he leaves City. no mention of Bertrand only VVD
  5. Quite the team was second youngest in the league last season and we lacked leadership on the pitch after VVDs injury. I was hoping we might balance out the youth with a couple of older "captain" type players especially at the back were we needed an organiser for the back 5 unit.
  6. Targett is very average and lacks pace replacing Bertrand with Targett is like trading in your Audi tt for Ford Fiesta.
  7. We'll it's not quite the wow statement of intent, first signing of the summer I was hoping for. With this signing and Bertrand and VVD looking like they are off I guess it's business as usual at saints this summer.
  8. We haven't actually sold him yet...
  9. I'm guessing if we are happy to sell him there is more than football going on, he is clearly one of the best LBs in the league, wasn't he mooted as being one of the senior players causing problems in the dressing room for Puel last season? I just hope if we do sell him the club aren't blinkered enough to believe Mat Targett is an adequate replacement.
  10. yeah certainly worth more than that in the ever increasing madness that is transfer fees.
  11. Why would he sit on the bench? he is one of the best LBs in the league I'm pretty sure he'd get plenty of game time.
  12. Interesting little fluff piece North Koreans' answer to this simple question offers a terrifying insight into how the government influences their daily lives http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/north-koreans-answer-to-this-simple-question-offers-a-terrifying-insight-into-how-the-government-influences-their-daily-lives/ss-BBD8YyS?ocid=spartandhp
  13. Sod that tell 'em its Hazard in return or no deal...
  14. High intensity 100% pressing would test quite a few of our squad Davis isn't getting any younger, Clasie struggles after an hour, Austin, Tadic, JWP, Boufal, post injury Jrod are all players I could see struggling for one reason or another under that sort of style.
  15. Balls to that we own him for the next five years if we want. If the club are prepared to show some balls he can't go anywhere we should be looking to get another season out of him at the very least.
  16. Hopefully that's an adequate replacement in a Pelle for Lambert way and not an adequate replacement in a Fonte way.....
  17. I give him until September before he falls out with the new manager...
  18. who hasn't
  19. I think that's his default expression...
  20. Buying a load of average players (Gabby aside) the manager didn't ask for (Pied aside) is not backing the manager... Compare that to Koeman who was allowed to bring in Clasie, Pelle, Mane, Tadic and Eljero Elia
  21. I think that is pretty debatable last summer..
