  1. I find Zaha pretty loathsome and that **** Vardy to.
  2. Hopefully that means Bertrand is back ( no slight on McQueen who I thought was good last night) going to be a big ask to get anything playing Clasie and Hoj in the middle together.
  3. I think you're going to a very miserable saints fan for the foreseeable future I doubt there are any managers who could make saints "consistent top 6 finishers" or have us winning a cup if we don't finish in the top six.
  4. I was fine with the subs against Bournemouth we were on top and Puel was going for the win can't fault him for that you could see what he was trying to do.
  5. Personally think we need to make it more Tyro league and get the players dads to run the lines it's the only way to get fair unbiased decisions.
  6. I suggest your friend was at another match we were comfortably the better side all night only Shane Long's inability to finish stopped it being a very good first half.
  7. So how close does it have to be before it is no longer deemed deliberate handball. Seems to me that if there is a regulation distance after which a handball can not be awarded defenders are missing a trick......
  8. Well assuming Bertrand, Boufal, Gabbi, Davis, VVD and Austin are still injured/unfit and Romeu is suspended I think we might struggle a bit against a WBA side in good form this season.
  9. Wrong thread
  10. He deliberately punched the ball away that defender knew exactly what he was doing I'm normally pretty dismissive of handballs many that I see given are extremely harsh on the player but that one last night was blatantly deliberate.
  11. Exactly Fonte has to spend 50 years being retired not like us lucky bastards who get to keep earning in to our late sixties and people think PL footballers have it easy.
  12. Nice ?
  13. On a side not just how bad are Andros Townsend's corners? He couldn't even get some of them off the ground.
  14. He was very good tonight despite palace sticking Benteke on him most of the night.
  15. We were comfortably the better side all night we played loads of very nice passing football with players finding space allover the pitch coupled with some decent tempo passing. Their goal was a bit of a black mark but other than it was saints all night long. We created enough chance to win several games if Gabbi was playing it would have been carnage. You feel that Shane Long would struggle to score from two yards out with no one else in the pitch...
  16. Forgot Sammy Lee was at Palace now seems a bit strange seeing him scurrying around the SMS pitch tonight.
  17. Yes it really hasn't been a good season for injuries...
  18. So no Boufal or Bertrand in the squad .... At least sims is on the bench I like the kid and Pied was a bit if a shock.
  19. Why are you phrasing your statements as questions? Are you not sure if they scored goals in the past? Are you asking if Jrod has played for England?
  20. Must be very strange in your black and white world ?
  21. I say every season if we actually won a cup I'd take 17th in the league so I think it would be churlish not to be happy with a mid table finish and a non winning cup final....
  22. Would a formation change help? Shots on goal haven't been an issue so we are creating chances the way we are playing it's the actual putting the ball in the net that is the problem. If we weren't creating chances then a change would be more justified. We gambled on Jrod Austin and long this season and it hasn't worked.
  23. Well that's either proof that stats can be fiddled to prove anything or proof that football fans just see what they want to see despite the facts.....
  24. It's really not hard to see where our problem lies this season we are at the bottom of the shots to goals conversion rate table. We have had 153 shots on goal in the league this season only 3 less than Everton ( and actually more shots than arsenal or man city have had this season) yet Everton's conversion rate is almost double ours. We've had far more attempts on goal than a lot of teams in the league and converted the fewest. Is the manager to blame for that? How many shooting drills can he run in training? He has set up the team to create as many chances as high flying Everton but there's only so much he can do to get the players to actually score the bloody goals. Just check out the link below it's pretty interesting http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/chancenverwertung/wettbewerb/GB1
