If they get rid of Brenda they might actually become good I'd rather he stayed another 10 seasons myself.

I'd play a strong team tbh. Our best back four (VVD, Fonte,Cedric and for now Targett) need to play together as much as possible same for our midfield ( plus victor has already had a nice early two week break). The only place I'd change things is up front I'd rest our first choice front three and play jrod down the middle with long and Juanmi either side. Get them rotating position and get balls over the top and down the channels there should be a enough pace and guile to test the dons defence.

Other than Mane Tadic is the only other player looking likely to create anything especially with out any attacking fullbacks in the team. Also if you watch him he works far harder off the ball the people give him credit for.

I was there they were vocal at the start especially during Ralph's Marcus speech. They all so had plenty to say once they were three up. Clearly some fans are better than others the big point is this idea that some fans sing even when their team is losing the anecdotal evidence is that all fans generally go quiet when things aren't going well.

In what way? Koeman has been around the block enough to know Morgan and Clyne weren't staying. He could attach a small amount of blame to the board about the Toby situation, but then Toby played the club superbly. He was allowed to bring in VVD and Jordy and the club backed him when he publically stated Victor and Sadio would not be sold. So I can't really see why he would feel let down by the board unless he was expecting us to sign Bale and Messi (unlikely given his comments about saints prove he knows the clubs place in the world of football) in which case he may feel rather let down.

Ronald doesn't seem to know his best team every game we seem to change it around. I get a feeling we are setting up to counter the opposition rather than getting our system sorted out with a settled first 11.

No I agree but we are only six games into the season still think we will finish above those sides by the end of the season. Even Everton, probably the biggest club outside the top six, has bad seasons. Being a regular top ten side has to be the goal but football has way to many variables to guarantee it every season.

On yesterdays showing they weren't any better than Norwich's fans at making noise when the game was in the balance and Arnhem's fans were better IMO. They have a good selection of songs and use clapping well to make a lot of noise. The issue was more that like everyone else they went silent when we were one up and got noisy as soon as they started winning they weren't making a constant wall of noise for 90 plus minutes.

Agree I was sat next to them as soon as we went one up they shut the **** up. They were noisy in the second half but so are all fans whose team is winning and on top. The pick of their fans was the woman, with a rather southern accent, trying to get the stewards to throw out a saints fan she found offensive rather back fired when the Itchen started singing about her STD and where she liked to take it............

Sat in the Itchen North, right next to the away fans, with my little girl and was actually told to leave a few minutes early by a safety steward because it was likely to kick off st the final whistle Something to do with a corporate box full of man u fans behind us. Would have stayed on my own didn't want my daughter mixed up in any ****. Happy to be a **** in this case ?

The problem is people judge in black and white from one week to the next. Apparently VVD was quality last week and is now ****e. Most peoples player ratings have no context win a game and our players are **** hot loose one and our players are league 1 standard. Does anyone want to go back over the Mane thread from last season?
