Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED

Eljero Elia -
Well if we lose our boys can take comfort from the fact they will mostly likely turn out in the PL for saints 1st team while the Chelsea boys will be lucky to even meet the 1st team let alone play for them.

Morgan out until the end of the season

Exactly just adding "no intention" is a massive get out for Les -
Sounds like Les language to me "I have no intention of selling Christian." "If a player doesn't want to play for the club anymore and the club he wants to go to meet the valuation then I think it's always best to let them go. " basically Villa gets any half decent offer and Benteke will be off.

Schniderlin to spurs for players plus cash???

I'm sure Victors agent is touting him to anyone who will listen agents are the scourge of modern football. -
Other than the Poole town connection I can't see why Austin would want to sign for Bournemouth.

Best way to learn and improve would be by playing in the 1st team. -
Maybe a loan move to help Tranmere back into the football league................
-
On the other hand if no one is interested he can just sit on (I suspect) a decent Liverpool contract.

Wonder were Rickie will end up Palace with Pardew? maybe Bournemouth? I reckon he could still offer something in the PL if he had regular game time and got some confidence back.

I don't think Davis will be dropped shooting boots aside he had a good game against spurs.

Victor's agent might have been talking to the arse but I cannot believe the club would let Morgan and Victor go in the same summer. So I think Victor will get the same treatment as Morgan did last summer. -

Well look at this way we get to try out playing without Morgan and see how we do. We're going to have to get used to doing so any way lets just let Reed (rather than Toby as a DM) have a few games and see how he does. -

Yep same as last summer a lot of people read the clubs statements and interpreted them to fit their own hopes, fears etc. Rather than actually reading what was written. -

I don't think Nemanja Matić is ours to give........... -
Recruiting for a first season in the PL is tough you need PL quality players but convincing them to come to a newly promoted side isn't easy. Best hope is that a good number of your current squad can make the step up and you can get one or two older but experienced PL veterans (dare I say Rickie Lambert).

Well at least he won't be turning out for another PL team....
-
I'm really hoping he goes abroad tbh PSG maybe? Rather that than have to watch him play against us....

An online article on our potential new rivalry with Bournemouth http://wearehooligans.com/2015/04/28/afc-bournemouths-arrival-gives-southampton-fc-a-south-coast-rival/ I particularly like this bit With only 32 miles separating Bournemouth’s Dean Court and Southampton’s St. Mary’s Stadium, this powder keg could be set to erupt like never before.
