  1. There does seem to be an element of that. Some of our fan base do seem to have ideas well above the clubs station.
  2. Quote from Koeman in the the club statement “I’ve been very impressed with how Matt Targett is doing in pre-season, but he is still young and developing, which I am sure he will continue to do over the coming seasons.
  3. Koeman: I spoke to him on Monday afternoon and I was very impressed with his attitude and how keen he was to play games for Southampton. At least he actual wants to play for us that's a start
  4. On the O/S http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/30072014-statement-ryan-bertrand-joins-on-loan-1794098.aspx
  5. Are we the sort of club that can attract top PL talent?
  6. Don't forget Harrison Reed as well hopeful he will turn out good and we can enjoy watching him for a whole season.................before he leaves for Man U;)
  7. bollix is it to much to ask that we have some good news for a change.....saints really seem to have ****ed off the gods of football:(
  8. Sounds good ,though the always do in these type of articles, TBH I'm just happy with some positive news for a change.
  9. Cheers. Wonder if man city would like to do that with us? they can buy the players and we could play them:D
  10. His entire goal tally in three seasons seems to be 5 goals.....
  11. Just looking at his Wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saphir_Ta%C3%AFder What's this Co ownership thing mean? A day later, it was announced that Taïder was signed by Juventus on a co-ownership deal for €2,425,000 in which the Dane Frederik Sørensen heading the other way for €2.5 million.[4] On 19 August 2013, he joined Internazionale on a four-year deal for €5.5 million and the co-ownership of Diego Laxalt.[5]
  12. Well Ralph only said we wouldn't sell Morgan and Jrod........
  13. No nothing about Taider but if we've got rid of the Osvaldo problem for another season and brought in another player to bolster a rather thin squad it has to be good for us right?. Unless someone is going to tell me Taider is a poor man's Paul Wotton or something......
  14. I Still can't believe any club would bid for Jrod in his current state hell of a gamble when there are fit players out there.
  15. Nothing if we don't want to sell but some extra money if we do sell.
  16. err this really. Most people seem so angry they casn't even put together a coherent whinge. It's basically got to the point were they are going to be angry with the club no matter what happens.
  17. Exactly but people are ****ed and desperate for a Man City style owner (even though FFP has screwed that up) the thing is for every loaded money splashing owner there seem to be two or three err.... slightly bonkers owners and we could end up worse off than we are now (yes really).
  18. on the other hand he signed a contract promising the club 4 more years
  19. I don't see why? things can change whether this is the club developing a backbone only time will tell.
  20. That was my take on it. Morgan helps get a few points on the board while our (hopefully) new players get used to the PL then he goes in Jan. I just don't think the club can afford to let another play leave this summer.
  21. So you are upset with the board for finally(it appears) doing what you wanted them to do all along? What has happened has happened the club can't change that. What is important is what happens in the next few weeks. If upsetting Morgan steadies the ship with regards to players leaving I can live with that.
  22. Maybe it's just me but I don't care if the club are being c unts to Morgan we've sold enough players time to put the foot down. Do you want Morgan sold yes or No?
