Ermm I might be the only one..... but the last seven years have been pretty good some great (and not so great) times but far more interesting than the PL times that came before.....yeah OK I probably am the only one

A) Why would any player want to go to that wreck of a club (let alone and ex saints player)? B) How the hell can pompey out do Donny on wages? C) He is a decent enough player that I'd of thought he would have some better offers than pompey.

Guly himself has said he doesn't like playing on the right and it's not his natural postion (source -matchday programme interview)..I think he considers himself to be an attacking midfielder.

I like Barney ..I really do. I wish he hadn't been injuried last season IMO he could have done a job for us in the Championship. Sadly I think the truth is the club has moved on and due to injuries Barney hasn't kept up a new club is probably the best move for him now.

I think he did it wasn't half a dozen games though it was more like 3 sub apperances for spuds before he got injuried.

Wierdly I've never thought he lacked effort ..it seems though that some think that by being disciplined and sticking to the job he has been given by the manager he is a lazy bastard.

Good. I like him bit hit and miss at times but on his day fun to watch and effective.

Also I really liked Wayne Thomas...barely a footballer more a thug pretending to be a footballer his greatest saints moment was a good one though

MLT claimed he did it once and failed to pull it off ..ie he didn't win or lose any money. Claus is claiming it was a common occurance during his time at saints and players from other teams were involved. I imagine MLTs wasn't worth the time to investigate if Claus is hinting at PL wide betting scams that's a whole diffent level to MLTs claims.

I don't feel the club should be embarrassed unless the whole club were in on it. Claus is one former player who has since been proved to have some serious issues...he is not Southampton football club

How can they punish the club for this?...I mean if the players were still here prehaps. If the bloke who lived in my house before me had committed a crime I'd hardly expect to go down for it.

I don't see how it matters now.. I doubt there is anyone at the club now who was involved then.........................Unless Jason Dodd was involved
