I'd be happy with Adam out wide instead of J-rod. Personally I thought the defence was our weak spot at the start of the summer and the 2 games in I still think it's our weakest area I'd be happier with a new LB and some more centre backs ...but there is still time.

Another striker? any chance he can play CB as well? I'm really not sure forwards are where we need strengthening but hey maybe he's the next Demba ba or something.....

The problem is Wigan (no disrespect to wigan) are one of the weaker sides in the PL and they had no trouble beating us if we can't pick up points at home to teams like Wigan where are the points going to come from?

Not that I don't agree with you but I said the same thing when Pardew was sacked and that worked out rather well so I wouldn't be surprised if NC didn't see it that way.

Can't be everyone on here was happy when the prices were realesed. Aren't we only 10th most expensive in the PL or something?

That's how came across on the radio. I thought it would be better for the 1st game at least.

Ok I only have radio Solent to go by...... but 1st home game back in the PL I expected it to be jumping at SMS. However apart from the first five miniutes and a short period after Wigans 1st goal it sounded really flat on the radio. So for those that were there what was the atmosphere like today good,bad ...Meh?

Wow it's like the last seven years never happened. A long season ahead it would seem. At the end of the day these are the games we need to win to have any hope of staying up. Only have the radio to go on but the atmosphere SMS sounded flat as did the team. It's all very well being up for the big games, like last week, but these are the games that count and the ones were we really need to take to the opposition instead it sounded like we gave them an easy ride.

Hardly people said he was a liability in defence last season so it's hardly a surprise if they don't think he will make the the step up. With Clyne we really upgraded the RB postion and frankly last season RB was a stronger postion than LB so any upgrade to the LB postion would be very welcome.

This ^ generally don't think to many of our players are to far off being able to do a job in the PL but Fox always makes me nervous in defence.

I read this the other day not surprised Terry has got us down for being relegated. Every prediction piece I've read has us in the bottom 3 only thing that made me raise an eyebrow on this article was how high up he had Reading finish (12th WTF) .It seems as most pundits see us and Reading going backdown while WHU are staying up due to already having lots of PL players like Carlton Cole:lol:

Yep If they really have to insult someone I'm sure they can find something less offensive like fanny, tit, **** or cvnt. I'm guessing most of them are to stupid to understand the meaning and if the do that's even worse.

This is how the club operates now (and in fairness has done since the take over) you just have to get used to it. I find the best thing to do is just assume it's not happening unless the player appears on the O/S holding a saints shirt.
