you are correct they are all crap.. but so are the players that replace them. We don't have one good reliable CB in the whole squad, we don't have one decent regular goal scoring striker in the squad, the two back up full backs aren't as good as the first choice fullbacks who are **** poor themselves. The midfield is OK but not particularly good either. The only part of the squad that is half decent is GK.

Out played by a newly promoted Cardiff, with a bunch of players barely PL level (allegedly) managed by Warnock FFS... If anyone need evidence as to just how poor our squad is it was here. Hopefully Ralph can do enough to keep us up but we aren't going anywhere without a massive overhaul of this terrible squad.

2 is generous we need a whole new back line for starters. The only part of the squad that is any good is the keepers (and Lemina)

The problem is if we last game ever CB that makes a awful mistake that leads to the opposition scoring we couldn't play any of them...

I suggest we give up on CBs altogether and play more midfielders. No CBs would probably make us more solid defensively than the mistake laden messes we play at the back at the moment.

We seem to be far worse than than Cardiff. This saints team is so poor doesn't matter which CBs we play they are ****e. Cedric and Bertrand have been poor for ages and are still better than the two back up guys out there today. We don't have one decent striker in the squad either.

From the sound of the radio Cardiff sounding much more dangerous and our defence sounds ...well you know ****. Ralph has a huge job on his hands.

I think we all know the squad is big on numbers and short on quality the problem is getting someone to pay us to take the **** ones and pay them similar wages that we are paying them..

You have to wonder how much impact Ralph can have with one training session though. I guess our best hope is a new manager watching makes the players up their games (not that they did for spurs )

I'm not even sure we have the players to play that way (or at least not enough good ones to fill a starting 11). At the moment I'd be happy to grind out a few 1-0 wins just for points and confidence. I mean if Ralph can get them playing aggressive pressing football after a couple of training sessions great but I wouldn't hold it against him if we were dour and boring but winning.

10 games? I was going for 15 minutes of the Cardiff game if we aren't at least 3 up.. TBH I'm tempted to go early on this one. I figure even if he gives us a great couple of seasons eventually it will fall apart (as it always does in football). Then I can present myself as some sort of prescient genius to the forum who pointed out what a disaster it was going to be
