  1. Problem is, like the most of the talent in the squad in recent seasons, he looks like he'd rather be anywhere but at saints and plays like it...
  2. I hear man u fans are pretty fed up at the moment normally plastic local mancs would be snapping up tickets in the home end for this game...
  3. D.) I always knew it was on the cards, performances haven't been matched by results this season, but I think 6-0 is a fair reflection of the game. I am really made up for Charlie and Shane they have been working really hard on the training ground and really deserved their Hattricks today. It was a fantastic defensive display by Wesley he had Martial, Lukaku and Rashford in his pocket all game long. It was great display by Nathan to, he was my man of the match, it takes a real special player to get six assists in 90 minutes. All in all we are very happy and hopefully this will push us on to a long winning streak.* * if Carlsberg did football matches for saints fans
  4. so you are saying we should have a referendum on being in (or out) of the EU every four years so people can change their mind like they do in a general election….sounds like a plan
  5. How Donald Trump appeals to men secretly insecure about their manhood But our research suggests that Trump is not necessarily attracting male supporters who are as confidently masculine as the president presents himself to be. Instead, Trump appears to appeal more to men who are secretly insecure about their manhood. We call this the “fragile masculinity hypothesis.” Here is some of our evidence. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/editorpicks/how-donald-trump-appeals-to-men-secretly-insecure-about-their-manhood/ar-BBQfpSO?ocid=spartandhp
  6. I never realised what a supportive loving bunch saints fans where..
  7. Is there any manager a section of players don't want sacked? I'd imagine Romeu thinks Hughes is a massive **** yet by all accounts he loved Puel. I'm guessing the players opinion of a manger is coloured by how much game time they get.
  8. Worried we will be over run by Rote Armee Fraktion, Rode Jeugd, Euskadi Ta Askatasuna and the IRA?
  9. Well you'd like to think so but on the twitter link he admitted that most clubs won't share details of wages so he had to best guess the list based on what info he could find....
  10. Certainly its more be believable than the first link that started this thread which reckoned our wage bill was bigger than West Ham and Everton's.
  11. Romeu has lost out because Hughes has insisted on playing 4-4-2 most of the season with two box to box types in the middle. Romeu is a proper sitting DM possession based type player when played in that role, like he was under Puel, protecting the back four he is an asset . He really isn't suited to play as a more mobile midfield two getting up down the pitch in a team that just lumps the ball forward a lot of the time.
  12. I never get this one game to keep his job stuff. What if he beats man u and then loses to spurs? Surely the club will know if they want to keep him or not regardless of the next games results. If they are making decisions like this based on the arbitrary outcome of one game we are more ****ed than I thought..
  13. yes that's what happens when you sell your top two goal scorers and don't replace them properly. It also doesn't take into account that following Leicester's surprise PL title win the big six upped their game significantly resulting in more points for them and less points for everyone else.
  14. Another internet PL wage bill piece this one is based on the average wage of a teams squad member. we come in 11th with each Southampton player costing (allegedly) an average of £2,669,333 a year in wages.. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/premier-league/hey-big-spenders-the-average-player-salary-of-every-premier-league-team/ss-BBQca75?ocid=spartandhp
  15. Doing hard working dole-bludgers out of the jobs they really want....honest guv.
  16. That was solents view last night yes the ball hit his hand be there was no intention or anything Redmond could do so not deliberate so not a handball.
  17. If the club can't afford 10 million to pay Hughes off how are we going to afford a clinical goal scorer? Not sure there are very many clinical strikers we can pick up for less than the price of getting rid of Hughes...
  18. Most of them aren't wet behind the ears academy lads they shouldn't really need coaching on how to get a shot on target, complete a pass, deliver an effective cross, mark at set pieces, getting goal side when defending or when to play out from the back and when to clear it into row Z. These are experienced professional footballers a lot of the game changing mistakes they are making are tyro Sunday league stuff. The coaches job is to drill them in formation and tactics so they play as a cohesive unit (something they are failing to do) not teach Hoedt the basics of defending or Long how to shoot straight.

    Goa

We spent the VVD money its not like he is pumping money into the club he is hardly Sheikh Mansour.
  20. Tbf saints have played the whole game with 10 men...
  21. Hoedt please.... **** OFF out of my club
  22. We are such a poor team turd players all over the squad. We can't defend and struggle to score enough goals to counter act our inability to defend .... We are going down.
  23. Nigel's not happy about it apparently https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/nigel-farage-tommy-robinson-ukip-appointed-gerard-batten-grooming-gangs-islam-prison-reform-a8647921.html
  24. Study shows 60% of Britons believe in conspiracy theories https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/study-shows-60percent-of-britons-believe-in-conspiracy-theories/ar-BBPZF28?ocid=spartandhp Sixty per cent of British people believe at least one conspiracy theory about how the country is run or the veracity of information they are given, a major new study has found, part of a pattern of deep distrust of authority that has become widespread across Europe and the US. In the UK, people who supported Brexit are considerably more likely to give credence to conspiracy theories than those who opposed it, with 71% of leave voters believing at least one theory compared with 49% of remain voters.
  25. Thanks. So he could play in a 4-4-2 then if Hughes still insists on going there. Still think he'd be better behind the striker like Davis used to play. In Pre season I thought Armstrong looked our most promising of the new signings bit disappointing he hasn't really got going for us yet.
