Exactly anyone trying to claim anything else is either blind or has some sort of irrational problem with Guly..............

We don't really need wingers while we keep playing the diamond though. Players like SDR and Puncheon would make decent enough wingers in a 4-4-2 but as Nigel doesn't set the team up like that wingers aren't really a need. Guly has gone on record saying he prefers to play in behind the strikers in midfield and not on the right.

Based on? Chaplows purple patch before Christmas no doubt? The same time Guly was having his purple patch when he scored 11 goals and several assists. Chaplow hasn't been anything to shout about since coming back from his injury...has he? My answer is I tust Nigel to pick which ever of those four he thinks will work best for the system he wants to play based on what he sees in trainning every day.

That goes for a lot of our players Puncheon, Barnard, Butterfield, Chaplow and SDR they all come in after weeks of not playing with starts or sub apperances and then get slated by the fans for not be f ucking amazing. Most players improve with a good run in the side.

Not sure we do how often do refs let the sort of tackles pompey were making yesterday go unpunished A hardman will probably spend more time heading down the tunnel in this day and age. A midfielder who can pick a good pass forward might be more useful.

Yep sadly when some fans have marked a player out they will just keep on (and on and on... ) If Guly had scored a hatrick yesterday some on here would still slate him. The boo boys have made Guly their scapegoat and will just keep getting on his back (the same way they did with Puncheon) until they drive him out.

Just watched the football league show...thought he dived yesterday, during the match, and the highlights confirmed it. I think he realised he'd blown the chance to shoot and tried to get something from the situation...not great to see HTBH. Having said that 1st half he got battered by Rocha and got very little protection from the ref. Adam still looked like the saints player most up for it yesterday dodgy dive aside he gave it everything yesterday.

Yep...wasn't really setting the tone The music choices were awful .......but then I reckon that was a ploy to keep the atmosphere down by the club.
