Yeah just read it what a crock this bit takes the **** Unlike Southampton, Reading do not have a marksman as prolific as Lambert but have instead shared the load around the team. It is something Williams, who is regarded as one of the club's greatest ever defenders, believes has been crucial to their success. "The highest goal scorer at Reading is on nine," he added. "But that is the most pleasing thing about this Reading team, the goals have been shared around. "Reading aren't a one-trick pony. There are numerous players who can pop up and score the winner. There are a lot of goals in the Reading squad and I think the style of play is their best attribute. Yeah we're a one tricky pony cuase no other players in our team have scored:rolleyes:

What are people expecting Murty to do if Reading score ...launch a one man pitch invasion, rip of his top to reveal a Reading replica shirt, turn to the NC and flip him the finger before doing a running jump into the away fans as 3000 Reading fans scream MURTTTTTTTTTTTTTY

You know why everyone wants tickets? becuase we might win the league, the same last season when we were looking at promotion..........People will be far less interested in £40-50 tickets to watch us get spanked by the above teams while fighting it out to finish 10th IMO
-
Yep I make three extra seats needed:lol:
-
What difference does it make? I'm pretty sure loads of people who work in football support a club other than the one they work for......

Yes but Norwich didn't win the championship ....did they ? which is what the OP is asking ...not the we have either (yet) -
Couldn't care less..he works for us but Reading are his team

Ahhh yes Puncheon was never sure if it was Jason who walked out on saints or saints that told Jason to sling his hook.

I'd take Bale, Baird and Jones if they were on offer right now, the rest not so much....though I'm not sure Jones is the sort of team player NA looks for. I wonder what NC would do to a player who went on strike to engineer a move to another team...

There were already two portsmouth reporters at the game according to the link how many do they need to write a story.......Sounds like he is just upset he didn't get a free ticket to the biggest game of the season......he could have done what the echo do and bought a ticket and gone in as a paying fan....

I see on the beeb that Trevor Birch says no offers to buy Portsmouth have been made Portsmouth administrator Trevor Birch has said that no offers have been made to buy the club, and that liquidation is still a possibility. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17677437 Do you think interested buyers are waiting to see what league the skates will be in first or......is there nobody, who can actual afford to buy the club, interested

Tuesday's matches, inc. Brighton v Reading (1945 KO)
doddisalegend replied to Crazy Diamond's topic in The Saints
No the points only get carried over if you were already relegated before the deduction hence why Stockport county who went into admin the same time as us didn't have a points deduction the following season in league one with us. -

I had the pompey game on radio solent in the background last night (keeping an ear out for the Reading game) and pompey were by all accounts shockingly bad. They gave everything in the game against us and played well above their level (and we were still easily the better team on saturday) last night they went back to their normal level of play and lost. -
Lamberts take on the game Southampton striker Rickie Lambert has played down the importance of Friday's clash with Reading, saying it will not decide the winner of the Championship...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17664462

No! I want us to demolish them, show people watching the telly how well we can play, still be top of the league and go up as fecking champions (something we may never have the chance to do again for a long time)

Hoping for an Adam El-ab special on Jason Roberts....you know. Fouling your opponent then dropping to the floor like you've been shot, roll around a lot clutching your face and getting the opposition player sent off.... Be handy if Roberts got a three match ban -
Hav we had a manager with a better win ratio than Adkins?
doddisalegend replied to Frank's cousin's topic in The Saints
Wiki have a table of all saints managers and their win ratios not sure how accurate it is though (tis Wiki after all) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Southampton_F.C._managers The best is Alfred McMinn with a win ratio of 70.37 % though that was in 1897 and he was only in charge for 27 games... -
Do Birminghan not won't to win.....What did Houghton say at half time "it's ok boys it's as good as won you can relax second half"
