you're not doing a very good job. Why do people get so upset with people getting upset with saints losing? is it not natural to get upset your about football club losing a game of football?

Not really relevant it's the points that matter we could have played like Barca we still came away with 0pts unlike some of our rivals. To decide if our season is going tits up you only need access to a league table not be at Walsall.

I'm really starting to hate tuesday night away games. Funny thing is this was just like the 1st game of the season we totally dominated a team and lost to their one (pretty much) chance on goal. Different manager but nothing has really changed. Hopefully thier keeper willl be tested for performace enhancing drugs after that performance. Merrington reckoned we lacked quaility passing from midfield looks like losing Morgan had a big effect. Solent losing coverage and kindly letting us listen to the skates win really finished the night off in style. If it comes to play offs we will bottle it ................

Well as we're not 20pts ahead of the rest of league one I think they are all pretty much must wins now. (cue someone popping up with some stats to prove we can still lose 6 games, draw 4 and still end up as champions)

What ever happens tonight some people on this board will complain about others complaining (actually it looks like that has already happened). I thought it was that guy from Carlilse Ian Harte that was in team of the year at leftback. I haven't seen enough good stuff from Dickson to make me think he deseves a place ahead of Harding but it's all subjective. TBH I thought Mills was more than good enough for us and a capable player.

^^^ this Harding is a good leftback at this level. Is he perfect? of course not he has had a few shockers in a saints shirt but I'd be hard pressed to think of a saints player in the current squad who hasn't.

I have no doubt a football in the wrong place could floor you if kicked hard enough (I wouldn't want to get in the way of one of Lambert's pile drivers). It just seemed that Dickson had been out for a long time for such an injury, I could be wrong (I problem am) but I don't think he has featured since the Man U game. Seems like a long time for a smack in the head from a football.

That can't be true we needed a least another 6-7 players in the transfer window just to to make the playoffs this season according to some posters on here.

Really he was knocked out by a football? yes we have depth it's true. I just wondered as he was a regular on the bench at least if not starting earlier in the season last few games not so much.

He doesn't seem to be turnning up on the team sheet last few games so I assume he is injuried but I can't find anything on the O/S that says he is. Under injuries there is no info at all. Is he crocked or has he been dropped from the first team?

Really? Apart from the on going Alpine bashing (which seems to be a feature off every thread these days) I think most people have had this match spot on. We were great for 45 mins and pretty poor for the 45 in between. Nigel got things spot on saturday we scored four whats not to be happy about? I don't think it's negative to want the team to play like they did for the last 25mins of saturday week in week out (realistic? probably not. Negative? I don't think so).

Really? didn't look anything on the highlights. Lambert and Barney get worse than that done to them every match with no punishment from refs. Was a well taken goal from Ryan though
