Let’s get one other thing straight Ralph needs to step it up too. His opposition prep has been abysmal for far too many games.
-
RALPH If you don’t research the opposition properly and you obviously don’t you would be accounting for their main engine rooms, in this case Shelvey. It’s as though you haven’t seen Newcastle play and add to that West Ham and Burnley ....!!! Our preparation is pitiful.
-
If we don’t man mark Shelvey he will of course destroy us. Hopefully previous lessons have been learned!!!!
-
These type of posts really are laughable...
-
Wtf was that again.... The standard of these players is beyond a joke .... Who finds these poor excuse for pub players..... What a mess..
-
Romeu - seriously ????
-
Well add up the goals conceded when he starts against when he doesn’t. Aside from that he is just too stiff and wooden in that position, gives away far too many free kicks in dangerous positions mainly because he is just a bit too slow. It’s not a vendetta in any way it’s just that we are vulnerable defensively when he plays and slow in transition too.

No Romeu, we concede for fun with him in the team...

Saints v Spurs (FA Cup) Match & Reactions Thread
captainchris replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
No-The league matters most. -
Thought Frank Saul was quite decent lol
-
And Schneiderlin would suddenly improve back with us? No chance, he is miles away from a player that is capable in this team these days.
-
You have to say there is not the faintest sign that Adams is a Premier League player. We should let Leeds have him and put it down to poor recruitment again. Agree, Carillo is actually better....
-
Ummmm Chez Adams - really .... Ralph is a bit obsessed with him and I can’t see for the life of me why. Would rather we progressed Obefemi and I wouldnt like to see Adams blocking his opportunities. Ralph’s weakness seems to be personnel choices and favourites... Undone second half tactically too... Good run though but another one where Ralph needs to look inwards.
-
Surely it would not make any sense to unload Bertrand. He is consistently one of our better players and still one of the best left backs in the country, he has a good two or three years left in him and should be kept. If we have learnt just one huge lesson in recent years it is keep hold of your best players!
-
The last sentence made me lol ?
-
With all due respect that is a rather harsh assessment of Obefemi’s performance against Spurs.
-
Stephens was my Motm .... Superb performance and had to cover for Bednerek on numerous occasions. Watch Bednerek closely second half and he left Kane completely free many times it was fortunate however that Tottenham didn’t find him. Bednerek enjoys too much praise for his performances. Stephens is a far better player.

Couldn’t agree more...

Aston Villa 1 - 3 Saints - FT - Reactions and Christmas Cheer!
captainchris replied to Heisenberg's topic in The Saints
Certainly does .. -
They probably have a decent coach. They probably look at the opposition, they probably practice throwins Etc
-
You are correct. There is no one to pass to because most of the team are too far advanced. We do not control the midfield and get bossed. Ralph is just not seeing the picture at all. Agree also that his comments after the game point to his alarming lack of knowledge regarding our opponent, this shows in games but now he has confirmed his nativity which everyone can see with their own eyes. Ralph is out of his depth.
-
Ralph is not up to it... Woeful today .. He really has no idea what he is doing. Wasn’t prepared, didn’t prepare the team at all and let everyone down today. Simply not good enough and has to be sacked - that is it for me. Ralph’s fault today - clueless ....
-
Actually it’s you who should take A look at yourself...
