There lies the issue, or one of them.... Recruiting players far too young! It’s ridiculous to recruit players at 8,9,10. At that age no one has a clue how they will turn out. Recruit at 14 upwards and please please the least we can do, the very least is teach them to kick with both feet!!!!! Our coaching is a joke.

Spot on. There is an issue with Ralph and certain players. Ralph seems to have an ego, some call it stubbornness, either way that trait is useless for a Manager... Ralph doesn’t manage people that well and it gets in the way of success. Giving Ralph so much control exasperates the issues he has. If we are to keep Ralph he must report to a Director of Football and be accountable. If not - get rid pronto...

You mean like he has been all season....? Even when given the opportunity to change things he STILL persists with his same poor favourites Bednarek being a prime example today. Ralph will never be successful while he plays his mates every game, money will not solve Ralph’s problems he has with several players that he doesn’t seem to like and ones he evidently loves and plays continuously. That will not change, even with investment. Autonomy is not healthy and is not conducive to a team ethic. The lack of input from Ralph’s staff during a game is indicative of the atmosphere that is in the club. Ralph rules and no one else can influence or add value to the ‘project’ All very unhealthy and a hinderance to growth and success. If a fresh start and clear out is the consensus then Ralph should be part of the spring clean because something is majorly not right and Ralph is heading this whole thing up.

All of it.... if he takes credit for 10 mins of reasonably average football in a game he takes the blame for the other 80! Ralphs team selections are pub team standard too!

Exactly Derry. Second half’s our midfield are far too advanced leaving us totally exposed. What this means is we both concede and completely knacker everyone chasing back miles all the bloody time!!! What does Ralph do???? Repeat, repeat, repeat .. Ralph takes far too long to cotton on and, as in in this case, never gets it.....

Yes.... We are not fit enough. Weak mentally Weak tactically Suffer from weird managerial decisions. All of which Ralph controls. What is this second half collapse which goes on and on and is not addressed. Is Ralph blind or is he the cause?

Statistics have little consequence without detail.... Who did we play in those matches, which players were available, were we on form etc ..... Nice guy but no one is thinking ‘wow great stuff’

The only problem with that is we can’t think about keeping Bednarek either for next year, that would be suicide.... So might as well play Vesty anyway... Salisu should play every game now.

Not sure where you might get the information that there are no concerns over Bednarek regarding his form and contribution .... That made me smile 😀

Not plausible .... Our recruitment of youngsters has been abysmal. Recruiting too young is a waste of time for a start. Certainly our recruitment of 14-16 year olds not long ago was non existent locally. Unless things have changed Tyro league standard certainly Saints were nowhere to be seen but other top clubs were all over the place locally ... However we love talent spotting babies still in womb ! Lol 😂

Not sure you watch the team or understand what was said in that post. I’m not going to explain for you.

I think this post is a very good analysis of just one of our serious issues which has not been addressed at all by Ralph. Ralph appears to be so slow at picking things up and rectifying them. Either we are not fit (no denying the goal stats point to that) or tactically we do not counteract the opponents tactical adjustments. Certainly on so many occasions we are caught with our pants down with too many players far to far advanced leaving acres of space for opponents to break into. I can’t even remember the last time we broke with pace! What does that mean? It means that the other team can press and commit forward without risk. Ralph controls all of this and yet game after game is the same. Fitness must be a factor here though we are blessed with a few average players of course. However there is very little evidence that players are being coached as again, every time we see them it’s like watching a game you’ve seen before.

‘Continues to improve’ ????? After 93 games where is this ‘improvement’ ? I cannot see any ‘automisation’ even after 93 games unless you count automatically being crap after 30 minutes of most games. Ralph is a nice guy in interviews though if that helps .....
