To be fair you need a mix of both. WGS was keen on the wings and often said more crosses = more attempts on goal, but at the same time you need a robust man in the middle who is also a playmaker and can pass wide or run through the middle. We also need a Viafara type midfielder - big and robust to prevent penetration through the centre against us.

Yep. Worrying isnt it. The times I saw them they put the kids and Wotte/JP to shame - totally honestly, relegation to League 2 wouldve been a dead cert this season with Wotte/Lowe continuing the kids experiment IMHO. Phew.

I think you're aiming a bit high for a League 1 team! But, I like your sentiments. Henri Camara was one of the few world class players we have seen at SMS IMHO. Shame the way his season here unfolded as I thought he was a cut above most Premiership strikers at that time.

Good point. I am with AP though on instilling pride in his team and the club. If Rasiak wants to demonstrate pride and loyalty I'd love him to stay, if not then let him go with dignity. To be fair, after the way he was messed around by Lowe and Wotte I don't blame him for losing interest in this Club. Can't have been a pleasant season for him last year.

I agree. Thomas when fit is a very good CCC level CB. He'll be good in this League.

I would be disappointed if we sold him for less than £1m.
