The BBC finally appeared to get rid of Lawrenson but he seems to have made a comeback which is highly irritating.

Was speaking to a Wigan fan and he reckoned that they had to wait for the replay as it affects what day sheff weds could possibly play. Sheff Utd are at home on the sat, so if they beat Swansea they'd have to play Sunday/Friday. There's so many options I'll be ****ed if they put us on a Monday night.

12.30 on the Saturday certainly wouldn't affect the service stations. What will the filth take up there, 500-1000? I really can't see it being a massive issue.

I'm not interested in other leagues, couldn't give a toss about them. Perhaps they're all mostly crap too?

If this league was any good we'd be 10 points adrift. It is an astonishingly horrendous league populated by, in the main, boring, dull, low quality teams.

Redmond isn't quick. Sims would be a far better option.

If Spurs win they'll be Friday night which leaves Sunday afternoon for us. A Monday night game really is unnecessary with the amount of other slots available. Take no notice of the "ties to be played" guff, there's been loads of occasions where that's been ignored.

That is an absolute disgrace. They know our tie, replays don't even affect it! 9 sodding days to organise potentially pathetic kick off days and times.

I think a 12.30 slot on the Saturday makes the most sense. According to the FIFA website, all players have to be released to their national teams by 8.30am latest on Monday 19th, so it can't possibly be the Monday night. It can't be the Friday because they play earlier that week, and on the Sunday there's the Wigan Marathon going through the stadium. All roads lead to Saturday.

I take your point but we have nothing in the last 4 decades!! We are long overdue a cup win and 1 major trophy in our history is an embarrassment.

This game can't be the Sunday because of some poxy half marathon. Just put it on the Saturday and be done with it.

Chances of this being on the weekend? Be ****e if they stick it Friday or Monday but it'll be on the BBC (probably) and they seem to have a habit of it.

What is up with some of you lot? We are Wigan away from the semis at Wembley and then who knows? It's been a rubbish season but this is a lovely distraction. We'll get the whole end behind the goal like City did, about 4000 I think.

Stonewall red and 'Pep' would be the first to moan if a City player received that tackle.
