  1. They basically want everything to stay as it is, but have Mr Disney give them unlimited funds to spend every season. There must be something in the water down in that hole, so utterly ****ing deluded. They'll be absolutely nuts to turn down his offer, but it will be hilarious if they do.
  2. At a guess; Forster - £15 million (including English tax) Cedric - £10 million Van Djik - £50 million Yoshida - £5 million Bertrand - £15 million (including English tax) Romeu - £18 million Davis - £3 million JWP - £10 million (including English tax) Redmond - £15 million (including English tax) Tadic - £12 million Gabbiadini - £30 million
  3. As of March 2017, over 6000 schools have become an academy or free school, including 69% of all Secondary Schools. Perhaps not 'pretty much all', but a significant majority. I'm glad your few years going to school have made you an expert though.
  4. If you taught quantum physics to a reception class, they'd be ahead of most university students. Doesn't mean anything though.
  5. Well the first one is already happening, banded pay scales were replaced by performance related pay about 3 years ago... LEA's are also pretty much obsolete now with pretty much every school being an academy..... And it's still a mess. Too many children and not enough money is the only problem, yet it's an absolutely massive one.
  6. You're right to, it is an absolute shambles under the current regime. Actually, it's a shame this election is going to be dominated by BREXIT, I'm fed up of hearing about it to be honest. We are facing far bigger issues in education and health in this country.
  7. I guarantee Chelsea have given Saints a financial incentive to limit our tickets so that they can be sold to all the jap tourists for £50 a pop.
  8. Labour won't oppose, Corbyn has already agreed to it and the majority of the party will be licking their lips at a chance to get rid of him. I actually think they'll do better then we think, but anything other then a big Tory majority will probably be the biggest GE shock in history.
  9. It's about time an away season ticket was set up by the club again, even easier now all tickets are £30. How hard can it be for them to set up a direct debit? Only benefit of being a ST at the moment is access to away tickets.
  10. 99.9% of the fans behind my ST (42, HH) are genuine care in the community. Shocking state of affairs at the minute.
  11. I'd give my right bollock, and possibly my left, to score for Saints at the Fratton end.
  12. And this is also why bookies clean up on football.
  13. No chance. keeping tickets away from members/general sale helps generate the sterile , shirt wearing away following that they no doubt love. We seem to have got into a habit of taking ridiculous away allocations, unfortunately.
  14. I assume the club only took the smaller allocation for WBA which "sold out". And yes.

    Injury Watch

We seem to have a habit of players continuing when they are clearly injured. McCarthy did his hammy and carried on with one leg, VVD played on, quite ridiculously, and then Davis didn't go straight off either. Bizarre.
  16. I hope that's true
  17. More info here for anyone who is interested; https://keepup.virginmedia.com/twentys-plenty
  18. They are doing it for all PL fixtures between two certain dates in April. Every away team is being subsidised by Virgin Media, good PR for them. I had a look yesterday, it's only our game away at Chelsea which is included.
  19. Ah yes, today is 'David Norris Day' - that famous day that cost us promotion, prevented their relegation and changed history forever. Oh. They are utter nobodies.
  20. Where was Bertrand? Glad JWP made up for him completely bottling a 50/50 challenge just before they scored.
  21. We seem to have got into the habit of taking tiny initial away allocations, which is surprising since we generally do ok numbers wise away from home.
  22. Jose is a massive knob and if I was Shaw, I'd be telling him to **** off in no uncertain terms.
  23. I'm sure i'm not the only one who remembers why he originally quit Twitter after it was revealed his Mrs had been a naughty girl on holiday.
  24. Benteke, Zaha, Puncheon and Townsend are going to cause us all sorts of problems, especially on the break. I do fear it might not be pretty actually.
