SSPs worked brilliantly. As mentioned, it provided primary schools with much needed sporting expertise that is so woefully lacking. I did TP last year at Noadswood Secondary, and we had links to the local rugby club, football club, had a specialist ex England basketball player come in to take an after school club, as well as holding primary school dance/gym gala's. We also happened to ignore Gove and did the school sports survey anyway. Part of the problem is the use of PE and sport as an interchangable word when they are, IMO, totally different concepts.

Would seem to suggest one or two CB's are imminent, hopefully.

Handball is a great game, absolutely knackering to play though. They'll love it.

We have sold out the upper tier.

Ah well, back to rain, X Factor and the football season then.

This has been a quite incredible two weeks. Really don't want it to end.

Reading this thread, I just really don't want to get old! I suppose I'm lucky to still be in a position where I can do every game, with the aways usually being weekends away, spending stupid amounts of money, without the missus particularly minding. For those experienced enough, when can I expect it to change? Marriage? Mortgage? Kids? Need to know which to avoid!

Received mine today. I ordered 3 tickets but only got my own. They appear to be sending out individual tickets this season to each person, even if purchased together online.

Was at the boxing yesterday after Athletics for the Katie Adams fight and it was easily 90% Irish in there!

John Anthony have a decent sale on at the moment, got a Paul Smith jacket for £60 reduced from £300, lovely it is too.

What always makes me laugh is the number of people who shout about how lazy x, y or z is (usually Guly), but then run off at half time on their tubby little legs to stuff themselves with pies and chocolate and god knows what else. These professional athletes clearly have nothing on them...

I simply cannot wait to go to the Athletics next week.
