Lol at daft posts like this that don't understand the issue that people like me had. Ralph was shocking for the best part of a year. He was stubborn, inflexible, and made bizarre decisions. Results matched that and he got the grief he deserved. I stand by my criticism of him and people supporting what was plainly a failing manager. Ralph has changed, and as a consequence my view of him has changed. It shouldn't be a hard concept to grasp.

Yep. There's still weird decisions - Liverpool away was mental - but games where he gets it right. Like you say, let's hope the good bits continues.

As someone who said he should have gone last season or in the summer I'm glad he stayed. I'm not sure what's happened, but there's been a change. Gone is the same system regardless of the opponents or it not working, gone is keeping the ball for the sake of it, gone is killing our players with relentless pressing and then being exposed for a seeing to. This season we've seen a mixture of systems, styles, good counter attacking, and a lot more steel to the players with a bit more edge to us. Fair play to Ralph this season.

I think we'll ultimately be undone by Pep 's tactics. There team looks very fluid and whatever we do, they'll adapt to it, tweak what they do and dominate. Close first half I reckon, then the game will go. Hope I'm wrong.

Buying players ain't like buying something off amazon mate, these things take time. Anyways, we're not desperate, if we can't get the right player at the right price, we're good til the summer. Chill chas.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I'm not sure it'll even take a big hitter to undermine him publicly to make him go. It'll only take a few behind closed doors I reckon. The Rishi interview for ITV yesterday was interesting - he ignored the question of whether he supported the PM and walked away. Its only a matter of time I think. -
That was a very young team too, especially the defence. Tremendous result.
-
Yep, we're not desperate anywhere which is a great place to be. Apart from RB, we could arguably upgrade in all positions, but there's nothing vital like you say.
-
Yep, it's got ridiculous. Leeds have shown the way, pack the bench with whatever you've got and crack on. Glad they won last night just for doing the right thing. And cos I hate West Ham.

What's all this McGinn nonsense? Has he been linked to us?

Nutshell. All avoiding the obvious point that Boris knows exactly what he's done and shouldn't have to be told. It's like taking a shit and asking someone to look in the toilet to decide whether you have in fact laid a turd. All a bit fucked. -
We'll that's find and sign that player, then move Bednarek on. Selling him first and then hoping we can find a gem is high risk imo. Hopefully the new ownership gives us the cash flow to do that.

I think the public talk is about Ralph pumping up Broja to push for a stay. I think most sensible fans accept that he's hear for 1 season only, and if we can keep him somehow, then that's a bonus.
-
Yep, of course. I go back to the point of who is it suggested that we upgrade Bednarek with for the same money that we sell him for?
-
Lyanco is no upgrade for me. He's got heart and desire but he's erratic. Bednarek ain't great in any department, but he's not poor in any department either. He's decent enough at this level and does a job and personally I'd keep him. That said, we can do better but you've waded into a discussion without appreciating the context. The suggestion was we sell Bednarek now for £15m and replace him now with a better player for £15m. That's unrealistic imo, and it's pretty reasonable to ask anyone who has that idea who they have in mind and your - in the real world "just sell him and get an upgrade for the same cash" just doesn't work.
-
Possibly mate but I was responding to the point that TWar made that we sell for £15m now and upgrade him now for the same money. No suggested replacement has been named and I don't see it as a realistic idea.
-
Yep, but unless I'm mistaken, you're advocating Bednarek now for £15m. Who are gonna get for £15m who's an upgrade and can be a starter this season? Salisu took an age to settle.
