  1. You're overcomplicating a simple point. Employers NI is paid by the employer from it's money. Employees NI isn't. The former stifles the employer.
  2. Yep. Naive, unnecessary, and could make a real difference to the outcome.
  3. Employers paying with their money is different to employees paying with theirs.
  4. The hit had to be taken somewhere. Employers or employees was her choice and on balance she got it right imo. That said, the pledge not to reverse the employee NI cut was daft so she had to work with the hand she was dealt.
  5. Ain't that the truth. What we've had today though is refreshing honesty, and a clear explanation that we couldn't afford what we were doing. That said, the budget doesn't really increase the cost to the average punter so in reality they are getting something for nothing. I was dreading armageddon today, and although a massively increased NI bill for my staff isn't ideal, I'm relieved and actually rather pleased with it.
  6. Only relevant to employers employing max 4 people at minimum wage.
  7. Agreed, although the employers NI will sting and probably lead to job losses.

  10. Should have scored. Playmaker Stephens involved.
  11. Only 32% possession, so technically they're losing in Russland.
  12. No idea what you're on about mate.
  13. I'm gonna lobby the PL to give points for possession. We'd walk the league.
  14. Judging by the u21's result last night, they ain't the answer in the PL. I don't think RM much choice other than to play Stephens today. Manning though, no excuses for.
  15. This season is the only season that matters this season.
  16. I think it's more 'always play a random mix, and never the best one'. Useless.
  17. Disciplinary reasons makes more sense than anything else. Picking Manning ahead of him last week was mental, then bringing Fraser on ahead of him even more mental, then picking Manning again today even more mental still. I'd be disappointed in Taylor if he didn't speak up.
  18. 3 cb's seems obvious today. If not Stephens, then who?
  19. Yep. Played a half for the kids team last night. Not sure what's going on there.

    New manager

The lad's on wind up mate. He's one of the dinlo's under a different name.
  21. I think that must be the case. Woods I never understood, and can only assume it was a pessimistic nod to next season, possibly Edwards too. Taylor should be in the team for me, but the treatment of him last week and last night is telling.

    New manager

Yep. It's either an ego trip, naivety, incompetence, or a combination of the above.

    New manager

The thing you're missing in all of your posts is the simple point that RM isn't playing in a way that gives our players the best chance. Managers must manage according to what they have at their disposable, not their idealism. It's a really simple concept. Other managers - Moyes, for example - would be much more pragmatic with these players, and play in a way that suits them not his beliefs.
  24. Taylor played a half alongside Edwards and Woods. That's 3/4 of our back up defence losing 2 nil at home to Palaces kids. Not ideal. Diaz payed too. Southampton: Mohamed (GK), Moore (Tabares, 77), Taylor (Sesay, HT), Edwards, Woods, O’Brien-Whitmarsh, Merry (Charles, 65), Akachukwu (Ehibhatiomhan, 77), Dipepa (Robinson, 56), Amo-Ameyaw, Brereton Diaz.
  25. SEND tribunal appeals launced are up thousands year on year. Appeal success rates are sky high as the original decision was wrong, although local authorities to be fair are skint. Not good.
