    Coronavirus

Yep. I'm in Rownhams (tier 4). There are less cases here than in Totton (tier 3). That in itself makes no sense. If I worked in Totton I could go to work, but couldn't go to Asda in my lunch break. All a bit mental.
  2. Anecdotally I've found it much higher than that. I only know a handful of leave voters amongst many many people who still believe leave is the right thing to do. Most, myself included, now see it as a mistake. That said, we (I)voted for it and whilst it's easy to blame the spin etc, we are where we are. Hopefully we can avoid WTO terms as the tariffs and the inevitable inflation increase will hit our economy hard. Putting aside the merits of leaving, it's been badly handled. It was obvious from day 1 that a deal wouldn't be easy, and it's come down to the best card up Boris's sleeve being access to our waters / fish. Brinkmanship on that point is daft, particularly as we don't have the industry and infrastructure to catch more fish, and without a deal with the EU, no market for selling it anyway.

  5. What a daft question. They've gone backwards from where they were, ie they have regressed as players rather than progressed. Whether they were first team players is irrelevant to the question of whether they've improved under Ralph, which they haven't. Slattery has (had) loads of potential but can't make a 9 man bench. Vokins hasn't kicked on. Ditto Valery.
  6. Yep. Slattery and Valery have gone backwards too. Vokins arguably as well.
  7. Shit. Hopefully not long. N'Lundulu or Tella please.
  8. Many times. Inside into a tight space. Backwards. Anywhere than Djenepo unless there's no other option. It completely nullifies our left side.
  9. Bertrand has no faith in Djenepo. Plays it to anyone apart from him.
  10. Yep. He'd offer much more than Djenepo on the left.
  11. He's having a good game. Our main threat.
  12. There's nothing "spurious" about the political issue. Regardless of what players be saying is their motivation, the knee and the phrase Black Lives Matter are both associated with BLM. That's a hideous political organisation and it's understandable that right minded people do not agree with public displays which are associated with BLM. If you could dismount your high horse for long enough to read and understand what people are saying, you would understand the above. Moreover, you'd understand that not one person on here who objects to the knee and/or the BLM association, is against the message of equality and social justice. The irony is that BLM does not seek those things. Say no to racism. Kick it out. Etc. These are all great messages. They are non political. They are not controversial. Use something like this and there'll be no objection. However, use something that's linked to the black version of the EDL, and objection will grow and more people of limited understanding will wrongly shout racism.
  13. Agreed re Armstrong. He plays his role well and is vital for us. What are you basing your opinion on Diallo on? It's equally possible that he'll thrive.

  17. Armstrong has given the ball away loads of times. Bednarek walking a tightrope. Gotta see this half out.
  18. Let's face it, we won't win the league, but this season and the end of last has been fantastic. We're playing some fantastic football and winning matches. Personally, I'll carry on enjoying the ride and we'll finish where we finish. Hopefully we can snatch a European place, and enjoy an FA cup run.
  19. I'm not interested in what a kids game says. Ralph has questioned Obafemi's professionalism, and he's slipped down the pecking order. The B team is there to help players develop for the benefit of the first team. If Obafemi isn't in Ralph' s plans for whatever reason, then give the place in the B team to someone who is.

  21. If Obafemi is nowhere near the first team for whatever reason, what's the point of him taking a spot in the B team that'd keep N'Lundulu, Tella or an emerging player like Mitchell sharp? If his attitude/professionalism is the issue, he needs to address that or ship out.
  22. Extend his loan. He's 23 now and out of contract in the summer. We've not handled him brilliantly - with loans or games earlier on he'd have made progress by now. He's too good for league 1 but if he stays at Doncaster he'll get regular footy in a decent side and keep himself in the shop window. I suspect he'll end up in the championship and carve out a decent career.
