    Car resprayers

Mick, not far from the five a side place in Millbrook/Regents Park. Proper "back street" body shop and does loads of work for the local motor trade. I have used him loads of times for everything from bumper resprays to major paint jobs. Every job has been flawless and very reasonably priced. PM me if you want his details.
  2. I think the concept is brilliant. Whether it could replace season tickets though I am not sure and the details would need a lot of tweaking. For me, I cannot get to many games so I allowed my season ticket to lapse a couple of years ago. I cannot see myself being able to renew in the next few years. I love the idea of chucking some money on a card when funds allow and using it as and when I can.

  4. No. Religion is an excuse for violence, not the cause of it. Quite why Lennon has become such a target I do not know. Madness.

  6. Because the breach occured last season. They didn't go up last year, so did not benefit from the breach. They disclosed the breach over the summer when the league approved the signing. He has therefore been a legitimate player this season. That is what makes the qpr case different from the others, ie Mascherano who helped the hammers stay up whilst he was an illegal player. Only the technical breach from last season is punishable, hence no serious penalty

  8. If found guilty the sentence shouldn't be harsh. They bought him last season but did not benefit from having an 'illegal' player. They declared the third party ownership over the summer. The league then sanctioned the transfer. Thus, he has been a 'legal' player this season so I cannot see how the league can punish severely.
  9. Agree with all of this. None of them deserve to stay up and I don't think will be a threat to us next season.
  10. Could be anything from that description. Doesn't sound like a knee problem tho, probably muscular. Quads and hams could pull on the front and back respectively. Probably won't be both though. Stretch the quads and hams (unless too painfully) and see what feels tight, that should identify any muscle issue and may help a bit. If any stretch finds tight muscle you have found the problem. If so keep doing it a few times a day and see if it eases. If it persists get it looked at. Don't waste time with the doctor, see a decent physio or a sports injury masseur. If you live in southampton I can recommend either, pm if interested.

    Advice Required

The law in this area is complex and often misunderstood. Firstly, there is no such thing as "common law" partners. Nobody has a right to anothers property just because they have lived together. It will be necessary to look at the intentions of you both, ie was it ever intended that he would have an interest in the property. His payments, he may say, were in reliance of an agreement between you both. You may disagree. Either way a fight over this would cost £7-12k per side. Would he really spend that chasing £12k? If you want some specialist legal advice send me a PM, always happy to help out a fellow saints fan.

    Redundancy

There has never been such a rule. The job becomes redundant, not the person. Employers normally invite employees to reapply for jobs then go from there. Longer serving employees cost more to get rid off. Older employees will scream age discrimination if they do not get to keep their jobs. Age discrimination cases can cost employers a small fortune. Thus it often follows that the last in normally goes first. It

    Eastleigh 10k

Not this year but it is a cracking run. I have patellar tendonitis (aka owen hargreaves knee) which has curtailed my running for the last year. Is bloody frustrating. I am hoping that it will settle so I can get back and run this race again next year. Those running, good luck and enjoy.
  15. Shoes will be the main issue. Probably not got enough support and and cushioning. Alexanders or similar will check your feet and running style and fit some shoes that will sort you out. Tight hamstrings and/or glutes will also tighten the lower back so stretch it out.
  16. Best phone deal imo is the Orange San Francisco for £ 99 on payg. An Android phone with a brilliant screen that can be unlocked for less than a quid. Stick a Gigggaff sim in it and you got a cracking phone and tariff with no contract or tie in period.
  17. That's the weird thing for me. I have seen a lot of great players down the years (those guys more so) and I just don't get it with oxo. I remember the Wallaces as nippers, MLT and various others and am not quite sure what oxo has that seemingly puts him on another level.
  18. Top two, no doubt.
  19. Don't get me wrong he's a talented kid but am I the only one that thinks he might struggle to make the grade at Milan, or Barca, Man Utd etc etc?
  20. Cross purposes I think. No way that SMS could accomodate a full athletics track and a footy pitch. Issue is wheteher it could accomodate an athletics track.
  21. Why is everyone getting so excited over this? The original post wrongly referred to the cinder track (or whatever it is) as a running track. I don't know this jeff bloke but I'm pretty sure that he never meant that usain Bolt and 7 others could do the 100 metres on that little track down the side or the Kingsland. The fact is that SMS is not set up as an athletics stadium. What none of us know (or at least no one has said with any authority) is whether SMS could accomodate a full 8 lane 400m running track. The stadium is very wide so it might be possible.
  22. You have "paid" in that you have given them authority to charge £1k to uour card. Any failure to actually charge your account is an admin issue between the store/streamline/your card company. You have done nothing wrong and are not obliged to any more. My advice is to put the £1k aside in case the transaction hits your account. If it doesn't then happy days.
  23. Sounds like good business. I only ever buy at auction and have not bought a bad one yet. Best deals are oop north. The best deal was a Rover 620 (then a nice car, a Honda Accord with a Rover badge). Loads of miles but all motorway with full history. Was an ex vodaphone company car. No accidents and immaculate. I bought it 3 years old with mot for £2200 iirc. I drove it for nearly 3 years until someone went up the back of me and wrote it off. The insurance company gave me more than I paid for it. I went back to the auction and bought another ex fleet car which I drove into the ground before selling for a reasonable sum. Anyone wanting a car should register with BCA and find an auction with several cars they fancy. Then go up with a mate, buy a bargain and drive it home. Otherwise a trader will buy it and sell it to you at a premium.
