You appear to have missed the point of the op. The stupid thread will be replaced by new threads on a player by player basis. The fact that there is nothing new yet indicates that nothing new is happening. However, if the original thread was still running all sorts of rubbish would have been posted. Good suggestion on the op and a sensible decision imo.

It's a game of opinions as they say. He played most of last season out of position in a poor team. He's still young and has played for England. CMS has done well in the third division so for me he has yet to prove himself at the same level as nugent. Sharp is the better of he and cms imo, but for me is not as good as nugent. As for pace, and have you seen nugent? Sure he's no theo but he's got pace.

Interesting question. Personally I would prefer him to both. He's proven at this level. My concern is that higher wages could make an unhappy camp. I'm sure that na and nc will take that into account.

Luke Shaw is very highly rated and apparently on Arsenal's radar. Ward-Prowse is promising too. Other than those two, and Sinclair, I've no knowledge of the players.

That's a sad opinion. Footballers are hired guns who play for whoever for a paycheck. It's the quality of the player that is important, not where he has played.
