  1. Redknapp would improve us short term, particularly if Bond etc. Long term he would destroy what we're trying to achieve. I'd rather look at the bigger picture and keep NA.
  2. This thread tells me that those calling for Adkins head should be careful what they wish for. There's is not one credible option that has been suggested.
  3. Breaking ranks will make him less employable, not more.
  4. Agree 100%. I don't think any sane coach would have picked our starting 11 at Everton, for example. So many flair players away from home was a recipe for disaster. That selection just seemed like we were shoehorning players into the team because we had to. I think that's the point of the 433 tbh. It gives more scope, in theory, to accomodate all of NC's shiny new players and those on big dollars like AL. Try getting AL, JR, GR, RL into a 442 - even more square pegs in round holes, less bite in the middle, and less protection for full backs. I pity NA. He's been given parts that he doesn't need and is missing parts that he does. His boss wants a fully functioning machine out of those parts and expects parts that don't quite fit to be used regardless. Mental.
  5. We can and we will.
  6. Spot on. I for one am grateful for mlt caring enough about the club to speak out.
  7. He does not need to achieve anything, does he? He's just a fan and club legend expressing his thoughts and concerns. Its sad that it has come to this, but why the criticisn of matt? This thread and wider discussion have, however, been achieved. I'm not sure that's a bad thing.
  8. This. He's actually saying some things that should concern us, such as a chairman apparently meddling in team selection. Matt has more than earned the right to express his concerns about a club he loves and showed great loyalty towards. He has also earned the right to be treated respectfully by the club.
  9. Seems odd for loans though (that's what I was referring to, sorry if I was unclear). My understanding is that it's a policy that applies at all levels, including youngsters going out for league experience. On loans it seems to be a cutting off our nose to spite our face policy, which no doubt p!sses players off.
  10. I don't know about Dickson but I know from speaking with a manager that Saints expect the other club to cover all wages. Seems odd - much better to be paying 50% of a players wages than 100% if he's surplus to requirements.
  11. I don't know. You continue to give the impression that you do. If you know anything please share - you can do that without revealing sources However, If you know nothing please stop trying to give the impression that you know stuff. Asking people to draw conclusions from loaded questions doesn't help anyone.
  12. Anyone know if the Horns is a stream or satelite?
  13. That's nonsense. You can reveal stuff without blowing someones cover. The problem is that you imply that you know stuff but don't say anything. I'm not gonna speculate as to whether you actually know anything (you haven't said that you do) but why give all the innuendo if you're not prepared to give any actual information?
  14. It depends. Eg, you want to buy or loan a player from us why should NC play the nice guy? You want to tender to do building work, why should NC be a nice guy? In any dealings would anyone criticize NC if he structured deals to receive payment sooner than we ourselves were prepared to make payment? Again, without any facts from you or anyone it's impossible to put your point into context.
  15. Because you have insinuated that you have factual information about various matters that you refer to. When pressed for detail you put up the shutters and give a load of old waffle. If you know nothing, don't imply that your a fountain of knowledge.
  16. You have hinted that you have knowledge about certain matters, not least the training ground situation. You insinuate that NC is a factor. Do you actually know anything? If so, share.
  17. I agree, but if people claim to know answers they should say more, ie say what you know or keep it zipped. Corky Morris has told us what he knows and hasn't embarrassed anyone, if others really know stuff then do the same.
  18. Ms Symonds came on the scene way after the split iirc. In between times Mlt was knocking around with a then colleague of mine. It was years ago but I'm as sure as I can be that it was that way around. Got fook all to do with the thread though.
  19. first bit is also incorrect.
  20. No idea. Perhaps several of those people weren't up to scratch. Anyone could speculate why to to all of the above but if you know the answer please share (sources not needed, so no excuses).
  21. I get the need to preserve sources, but I don't believe that precludes sharing more without the source or specifics being identified. Saying "I know stuff but can't say" is just daft. It's not difficult to give information but avoid blowing someones cover and/or making defamatory remarks.
  22. What model mate, and what HD? I'm at Rownhams so could pop in tomorrow on the way home. PM your details.
  23. How much for just the box? Whereabouts are you?

That's a long winded way of saying that there are degrees of severity of noncery. That we agree on. Where I disagree with others is that I don't think its ever acceptable, morally or legally.
  25. Agree with the above, it's a fine thread Mrs Egg (she's read a few chapters, but is too slim to be eligible to read it all) is grateful for an opportunity to know how the story unfolds. Hopefully other non obese women will learn of this opportunity to "read" this book and will tune in? Cheers Mr Bearsy, you're fulfilling a very kind public service. Keep it up.
