Yep. We'll get players, and I suspect there'll be more options later in the window than now. Downs, Downes, Quarshie, Fernandes, THB, Edwards, show that we can actually spot a player and get them onboard. I'm confident we'll have a decent starting 11, and squad, after the window slams shut. I reckon we'll still be stuck with ABK though, and may actually use the lad.

Depends on your level of expectation. Some people are not appreciating where we are, and nothing has been promised. Regardless, you shouldn't be surprised that the best players will go, and that any replacement will be of a lower standard.

Different coaches play a back 3 differently. We don't have creative wingers so playing wingers seems pointless, but we have reasonably creative wing backs. To get them high up the pitch, we need to play a 3. We also need, I think, 2 up top through the middle. I also don't think Still fancies Edwards in a 2 but he looks our best CB assuming THB leaves. 352 for me as I posted above before me made the change.

352 would suit the squad better. Wingbacks getting balls into 2 up top would be better than forwards pretending to be wingers and not getting anything through to anyone. No Manning, Fraser or AA though.

Yep. And adaptability. The squad is surely a 352 squad. Sugar and Welly as wingbacks. Downs and Archer through the middle.

Yep. He's working with hands tied as well. Can't be easy trying to prepare with players who want out / we want to move on. I'll judge once the season is up and running and he's got a settled squad.

Sell the players who were always going to leave, too early, shite owners. Sell them late after a bit of bidding, shite owners. Buy players before players have gone, shite owners. Buy them late after we've cleared the decks, shite owners. To put another way, fans aren't ever happy. But yep, shite, line up today.

I guess it's based on the team we could put out if everyone stayed.
