It's all about the Villa result. A good solid win and we will be Ok for mid table. Lose, and we will find ourselves in relegation fight as the season develops.

Naturally the players minds were on the match coming up against Villa. A match worth 3 premier points and far more at stake then the League Cup.

3 points are vital.

If we win well against Villa, things will calm down. If we lose or even draw we could be in trouble.

As the thread says. We need a win to steady the ship.

If ever we needed a win. We HAVE to beat Villa. Let's see if we are fired up or whether we are downcast.

I think so. Could be a long season and a long time before we get to 40 points. We need to get 3 points off Villa or a bad run of form will fast become a crisis.

TBH I am not bothered by this game. If we go out I hope that we do it without being thrashed and more importantly there are no injuries.
