The key to predicting our season is to decide which was our typical form. If it was the early part of last season, we are stuffed. The middle part and we could finish top 10. The latter part, when we struggled to score and beat some pretty mediocre teams, then we will struggle. Again, we have not been decisive in the transfer market and like last year have failed to deal with known weaknesses. IMO if we fail to get a top rated striker, we will be relegated.

But I thought our transfers would be sorted by 1st July ? I think what we have is pretty much what we will start with. Maybe a few panic buys in January in the unlikely event,( so that I tow the line), that we are struggling in the relegation zone.

OK. Just to fall in line , here we go. I think we have a great squad. We should have a solid season and will most probably finish in the top 10. We are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with. I am sure we will make a few more key signings in the £20 million mark.

That's exactly my thoughts.

The interest in Norwich is understandable. A similar sized club to Saints with a similar recent history.Both clubs provincial with a loyal but similar size fan base. Both clubs are well matched. What is intriguing is the different approach of the two clubs to the transfer market. I think Norwich will be solid mid table next season, Saints to struggle around the relegation zone.

That is my opnion. I think we will struggle to avoid relegation.
