  1. Hope we din't peak too soon !
  2. How long to hold on ?
  3. The vocal minority. Probably part of the anti Hoddle brigade in 2004.
  4. Why ? SaintRichmond makes a very valid point !
  5. Good point. I see nothing but relegation on the horizon.
  6. I am over it. My campaign and mission is to keep the beacon of truth alight and frustrate the attempts of the vocal minority to bury their role in the near collapse of the club by changing or airbrushing history. Some on here have had the guts to admit to the error of what they did, many have not.
  7. No. I have made it clear that Glenn's time has passed, but that does not change the fact he should have been appointed in 2004. People cannot change history but there are many who try and re-write it.
  8. Yes, although if we do go down I think we will sign yet another new manager to get us up again. The sacking of NA was not the wisest of decisions.
  9. Combine Harvester or 'Where be that Blackbird ?'
  10. Should be enough if we are employing the 'yo yo' strategy.
  11. Dalek then, can't remember why I added the 2003, I think it was during a web regeneration.
  12. Nope, I will still be banging on about the failure to appoint Hoddle in 2004.
  13. It's no good all this 'soft as ****e' training. We need to get the players in shorts, plimsolls and singlets running in the snow on the North Yorks Moors and then a few pints down the Cat and Fiddle.
  14. NA was never the problem, it was our pathetic and complacent failure to strengthen in key positions over the summer. Can't see our new manager sticking around next year if we need to yoyo back to the Premiership. No, the sacking of NA could compromise the yoyo policy.
  15. We will be lucky to get any thing from this match, in fact I think we will be taught a lesson Manure 7 - Saints 1
  16. Saints chose Sturrock in 2004 !
  17. Not good enough !
  18. As a club, we are very good at airbrushing events out of history, in fact a minority of the fans have tried very hard. It is a lonely place when you are one of the few bearing the torch of truth when all around are sniping, ridiculing and attacking.
  19. Yes, we have to move on and forward or we die. All things in life are like this. There is nothing worse than the moping friend who can never move on for example from a broken relationship. We have much to look forward to and a Premiership status to fight for. Let us roll up our sleeves and get on with it. But, when we have time to reflect, let us not forget NA, for he has done a lot for this club. Many, like me, suffered the trauma of seeing our premier status thrown away in the Spring of 2004, but although I will never forget that sorry episode, and intend to one day play my part in revealing the truth about the vocal minority, I supported SFC throughout.
  20. Agreed, the vast majority of Saints realised that Hoddle should have been appointed and the decision by the board who were influenced by the vocal minority, had led us to install a manager who was out of his depth and would start us on the road to catastrophe. Some similarities this time, but let us hope history does not repeat itself.
  21. If you look at the statistical analysis, Hoddle was one of our most successful managers so perhaps our new manager would be a advised to spout bo11ocks !
  22. I felt exactly the same after the failure to appoint Hoddle in 2004. I still havent got over it.
  23. Well I am not holding a candle for Pardew, but still maintain that we should have re-appointed Hoddle in 2004.
  24. Goodbye Southampton, goodbye to you all and thanks for all the fish !
