Yes I did. I said we sould start strongly and we would begin to fade and fall gently down the league. It is true that I did not anticipate such a strong start as we have had.

Actually i stated clearly back in the summer, that we would start strongly and then fade away due to a small squad and relatively modest investment. I see this as happening right now.

Hmmm.... the striker situation should have been sorted back in July, there were opportunities in the summer but we weren't prepared to pay the price and took a gamble. Worked out well until just now. To be positive about things, probably better that the issue is forced on us just before the transfer window in Jan than just after it. Can't help feeling that Bart will never fully recover, which would be sad. When is Connolly due back ?
