Us outspending other teams...we have yet to spend a single penny ! You 'avin a lafff. Even Pumpey will outspend us !
-
I would be surprised if Fulham move for NA. There again we appointed Sturrock in 2004 !
-
Apparently Morrison has been signed. Paul Lambert is very decisive and likes to sort out transfers early to gel the team together. Saints need to take a leaf out of his book instead of frigging about all summer, missing out and panicking in August. If we carry on to form we will have our usual poor start to the season and our one aim will be survival.

Chris Martin from Norwich....hot news in the spring, scorching now.
-
The one that keeps coming up in Norwich is Chris Martin.
-
The point I was making is this. Last season Norwich acted decisively and I am sure that contributed to their success. I hope we don't have another close season of dilly dallying !
-
Have to look at that episode again. Thanks.

Roll call of non Saints fans who use this forum

I can see that you are a winner. I am impressed. Do you collect all the football stickers or just the ones for Man Ure ? -
Norwich very decisive in the transfer market again. Paul Lambert clearing out CCC players and bringing in 7 new players ready for pre season training in July. Saints seem to leave things to the last minute and for me this is a mistake as the squad is not settled before the start of the season.

The Cybermen are futile. Did you not see the time when three Daleks took on the whole Cyberman army and destroyed the lot. The dr fears one enemy more than any other...the Daleks !
-
Well you are factually wrong on that one. My campaign has been going on since Spring 2004, so that is just over 7 years ! On this forum and in its previous format and the format before that !

I find 'The9' evidence hard to believe as it is pure speculation.
-
Absoulte Kack ! If we sign him I would say we are building for a future in League 1 !
-
Did I mean it to be funny ? No, so that rather ****es on your bonfire !
-
and what position were we in the PREMIER LEAGUE, YES THE PREMIER LEAGUE, when he left ? Also until recently we had one of our best unbeaten runs, and yes it was in THE PREMIER LEAGUE ? Now put that in your pipe !

1. The fans that protested against Hoddle in 2004 to admit to what they did. 2. To explain why they put the club in jeopardy. 3. To explain why they could not admit to their mistake earlier and to admit they would like to airbrush the whole episode away. Unitl this happens I will continue to hold high the torch of truth for all Saints fans in the future. The reasons for the sad decline of our club must be remembered so that we never make a similar mistake again.
-
Jones is a bottler. We would have gone down under his managership. Saints were only saved because of the appointment of Hoddle, who could have saved us again in 2004. However, the vocal minority knew better and sacrificed our premiership status to satisfy their own egos.
-
Head line, 'one down, six to go'. Decisive and buying early to get the team settled and gelled. Worked for norwich last year. Can't help feeling that saints poor starts are often down to us frigging about and not having everything in place for pre season and hence a good start !

Saints 4th favourits for promotion! SKY BET.

We were odds on favourites to win League 1 last season but we failed ! -
Boro = Champions Brum 2nd Playoffs West Am Ipswich Hull leicester Saints 12th

We did that again in the Spring of 2004 when we put Wurzel in charge !
-
I was talking about the present not what might be in the future.
-
2005. It was a slow but painful decline, which originated in the Spring of 2004 when the vocal few put their own agenda before the club. had we appointed Hoddle as planned, we would never have been relegated in 2005. I often wonder how those responsible feel, although of course they will never admit it and probably hope the issue is forgotten.

I think Celtic and Rangers are NPC standard, mid table.
-
You seem to have changed your tone. I said quite a while a go, only 4 players in Norwich City's League 1 winning first team remained in the team that got promoted to the premiership. Norwich were pretty decisive in last years summer market !
