I think Norwich will do surprisingly well this season. They have a good manager and made some shrewd signings early on in the summer. Certainly do not think they will be relegated.

Correct, I have made a slight adjustment upwards all things considered, but nothing too drastic ! I have now nailed my colours to the mast. 17th. It will be interesting at the end of the season to see these predictions again.

Of course i want Saints to win the league. My greatest wish is to see them European champions. However, my prediction for next season are about how i see next season. 17th would not be so bad in a league we have just been promoted too. We have made modest investments into the squad and NA is obviously building slowly. I think we will achieve success but not this season. We all need to be patient as i think it could take 3 or 4 years before we are ready for the premier league.

Again, spot on with my own predictions. We have failed to make significant signings to strengthen. This lack of decisiveness in early summer could prove to cost us dearly. Although i have been lambasted throughout the summer i stand by my comments.

That prediction is about right, although i think it may be about 18th.

The CB has been a problem for a long time. We needed to be decisive early on in the summer and sign a high quality CB. We have not done this and will pay dearly IMO.

That is encouraging. A 2-2 draw in a friendly is not unexpected. Obviously the game against Leeds will be revealing.

Just a hint of complacency in this post. Sure, our position will be decided over the course of a season. However, in August we will play real football matches and our form and results will reveal a lot that at the moment we can only speculate about.

1. Don't know who they should be, but they should be quality signings. 2. Think we need a centre forward, i was banging on about the potential of DC, long before he got his run in the team. However, he is fragile and injury prone. 3. A Centre back.

Originally we were talking about covering CB by early June, then mid June, then end of June, then July 1st then mid july,then end of July, then early August then start of season, NOW end of August, or even January.....shouldn't this have been done earlier ? This is a vital position and it remains to be seen how our defence holds up. Hope we are not too desperate in January.

Out of interest where did the bookies place us in the league this time last year ?
