Keep trying guys. I have my tickets already, but I was just able to add one to my basket. If it says sold out, keep going!

https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-02-16/efl-cup-final-wembley-additional-tickets This is sensible. The club did listen!

Hi Justin. My email is xxxxxx. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Nexstar. That's the way I thought about doing it, particularly purchasing on the back couple of rows. I was going to try to purchase a seat two in from the end of a row so it may put people off from sitting next to me! It probably won't work, but fingers crossed!

Can I please ask for some thoughts and advice. Yesterday morning there were 3,400 tickets available. I have just had a rough count up of tickets still remaining and it is approximately 2,105 (give or take 100). I have three homes in my purchase history, so I can hopefully purchase a ticket tomorrow. However, I also want a ticket for my 8-year-old son, but he only has one home game to his name. (Before I get hit by the plastic fan label, I have been a supporter for 35 years and I've attended hundreds of games, but I now live in Cornwall and I don't have the disposable income to attend regularly any more). I now have the dilemma of waiting (and hoping) that members with just one game will get the chance to buy a ticket - at which point I buy two tickets. Or I get myself a ticket tomorrow and hope that I can get my son a ticket on Friday, and then politely ask people to exchange seats on the day so he can be sat next to me. Thoughts please.

It does, but it is still only worth buying a membership if you see there are tickets available for a particular game you want to attend. And those games you can generally count on one hand. The club has messed up and I won't bother with a membership for both myself and my 8-year-old son next year.

Yes please. I'll have it. Email is christianmckee@hotmail.co.uk

What this whole episode proves is that it isn't worth paying for a membership at the start of the season because of the minimal benefits. It is better to buy one when it suits you in terms of what tickets you really want to purchase. By also allowing membership to be bought at any stage of the season, and whenever we edge closer to a final, it also proves that it is worth paying for match tickets even if you have no plans whatsoever to actually attend the game(s).

This every time!

Both myself and my 8-year-old son became members at the start of the season to make it easier to get tickets. We live in Cornwall, so a home game for us involves a 360-mile round trip, leaving at 9am and not getting back until 10pm, and spending at least £150. Time and finances means I've only made it to three home games this season and my son to just one. What frustrates me is the club allowing people to become members at any time of the season. There is no reward for loyalty. I won't bother being a member next season. I will just wait until a time that benefits me and bugger the club!

I did a count up of the green seats about an hour ago and there were approximately 5,500 left.

He was given a yellow for persistent fouling. The yellow was handed out for his third foul. He then committed another two fouls, the last of which was on Long, which should have resulted in him being sent off.
-
No worries, I have managed to get two in the Family Stand. COYS!

Long shot I know, but if anyone has both an adult ticket and an U11 ticket for Spurs on Wednesday, please let me know. Thank you.

I really hate saying this, but Puel is dragging us backwards quickly. -

It seems Redmond is getting all the flak, yet at least he is trying to be positive. It's pointless him running at their defenders all the time as we have no-one else who can keep up with him. Our centre midfield three have no attacking threat whatsoever and appear quite happy to play sidewards and backwards. Hojbjerg is simply wasted - he is the closest we have to a number 10 and yet Puel asks him to play so defensive. We are predictable and we lack any intelligent movement. Disappointing evening so far. -

Absolute garbage. No creativity, no movement, poor ball control, no width and a total lack of quality up front. Embarrassing display against a mediocre side. -
You can have all the possession you like, but if you lack a cutting edge, you will end up paying up for it. This has happened so many times this season.
-
Remy - we need some pace and he is a quality finisher. Also, bring back Morgan.

Well, after an amazing four days in Milan, I am now back in Hampshire with a sense of 'did that really happen?. The build-up to matchday was an incredible experience. Saints fans everywhere, with the majority having a great time whilst representing themselves and the club admirably. Many beers were drunk and many songs were sung, and the anticipation of playing Inter Milan in the San Siro (yes, really, Inter Milan in the San Siro) was building by the hour. On arrival at the ground, it really was a case of having to pinch yourself. The San Siro is an amazing sight which takes your breath away. But, for me, it was a symbol of just how far we have come as a club in recent years. The fans did themselves proud throughout the game and did they all could to help the team record what would have been an historic victory. But, alas, it wasn't to be. However, I sit here now at my laptop immensely proud of my club, my fellow supporters and everyone else connected to Southampton FC. Let's not see this trip to Milan as a defeat, but more of an indication of the progress we have made, and as inspiration for future success in Europe.

Is this the place to be tonight then? Two of us are in a hotel near the San Siro and wondering where is the best option.

Ideal, thanks. I have also found a coach transfer online which goes straight from Bergamo Airport to Milan Central Station and costs 5 Euros per person, one-way. Just a one-hour transfer. -
