He's going to play in the Championship for a reason. We need to move on and accept that the club have a calibre of targets (particulary strikers) and that doesn't include Gary Hooper. Not one prem club a side from Norwich has had much interest in signing Hooper, this should tell you something in addition to the fact that a striker who isn't good enough for the level we want to go seems to be a possible replacement for him at Celtic.

Good to see him so involved, I would imagine the players respect him a lot for it.

True, just thinking about where we will get our width from given the players we are linked with. Tough ask for Clyne and Shaw to do it from further back all the time.

Maybe even a 3 CB's with Shaw and Clyne pushed up into wing back positions. That role would suit both IMO.

Clyne, Shaw, Cork, Lallana, Lambert and Rodriguez will all play plenty of games next season, still a decent nucleous of English players.
