Seen MoPo creeping back into the forum. Just stop it. Immediately. Anyone using this will be banned.

He may have been quality in Spain and Italy but how will he do on a wet Tuesday night at Stoke?
-
Wasn't 2nd half possession stats similar at old trafford last season?
-
Probably a good time to come and out and say that he gets his info via PM's from me so you are right in what you are saying mate.

Wonder if this is an opening day one off or a change in match day wear for Poch? Usually a tracky-b kinda guy. The jacket looks a little ill fitting though, don't think he'll ever be much of a fashionista.

Better than his usual posts!

This is an accurate prediction IMO if we don't sign a striker. If we do sign a striker though, we will finish 6th.

Lambert should be Rooney's England partner ahead of Carroll, says MLT

He's been reading too many posts from Brett from Camden. -
is it worth constantly repeating this even though only 1 lunatic has ever said that?

This. Don't think people understand the role the captain of a side has. It's not about clapping and shouting and all the other stuff which gets the mouth breathers in the stands excited. The captain does a lot off the field which the fans never see, they are the conduit between players and management and organise a load of stuff on behalf of the squad. Anyway it won't make any difference. Adam Lallana is a **** captain and that is now folklore here in Mongolia.

Good point mate, I'm sure if the club knew, they would base their transfer target and strategy around your patience levels!

The Guardian predict 14th place finish for Saints
Dig Dig replied to Toon Saint's topic in The Saints
I'm not fishing. I just don't get how you or anyone can quantify a league finish using a generic term like "a striker". Maybe a bit pedantic but we don't know yet who we will sign, if anyone or the impact of a full season in the prem and a full pre-season with Pochettino will have regardless. I expect us to do better regardless of any new striker. -
At the very least, he could have just moved the thread to the other one rather than just lock it I've not too many deals where I have immediately thought that we have lost out. As will nearly all signings (and especially from abroad) there is always an element of the unknown until you're well into the season.

I think footballers who have a mind of their own and are happy to speak out very quickly get a reputation for having an attitude problem or being a bit of a bad egg. Football in general seems to prefer players who only speak to say "obviously" and "110%".

I ****ing pope not as well!

I came on here to read Osvaldo news and the usual trolls like trousers, bananaman and niceandfriendly are taking the thread off topic again! Do the mods even look at this place anymore?! None of the good people post anymore and I can see why!

Ok, I will look forward to A. Striker being a goalscoring sensation next year. -

Isn't that more tactical than personnel? We should have beaten QPR and Sunderland with the players we had. -

What if the new striker doesn't score any goals? -

We have a striker, an England International called Rickie Lambert who is class. You usually stick up for nearly all England selections so hope you are consistent now! We have more than enough already to finish higher than 14th. -

Downing & Chamakh - jealous? If not, then who SHOULD we have signed?
Dig Dig replied to mcbendy's topic in The Saints
Fee a side, he would likely have to come in as our top earner or close considering what he got at Liverpool. On that basis, wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. -
That was my point!
-
Positioning, timing, closing down, covering the back post, ability to press forwards..... if he improves all of this then I agree, he would be a good left back.
-
Is that why he gets abuse? For saying that we will have pay more than others to get him? Who disagree's with that sentiment? Maybe it's because he constantly accuses the club of being cheap and then on the other hand says players only sign for us because of the money.
