No he isn't good, pompey fans I know don't rate him, he just had one of those days. Don't get those blaming Davis for the first goal. It was a quality strike. Just because it was at his near post doesn't make it savable. It was criminal for the players to let the player have the time and space to hit it so well. Same with the 2nd.

Saw the strike again on telly, a far fiercer shot than it looked at the time. Don't think Davis could have done much tbh. IMO, as well as Guly going AWOL and allowing them to double up, I thought Richardson was at fault, had a couple of chances to nick it away and just did nothing. He was very poor today.

Was gutted at the final whistle, felt like a loss. However, win against palace and I think it will have been a decent weekend. Morgan going off was a blow, we never took control of the game in the middle. We still made some really good chances though and on another day would have been 3 or 4. Didn't think we defended well enough down the flanks which is so often the case with us. That was the only threat they had.

I think Adkins was ****ed of with the challenge, hence the "nasty one" description. If it's studs it's more likely to be impact. Only a twist, snap or a pop would have put him out for the season.

The Brighton result was good for us, they will need a win at home against Reading to keep play off aspirations on track.

Why do you think he won't be? Has been slipping down the pecking order since the start of this season....from captain to occasional starter/last 20 min sub. Wouldn't be surprised if he was sold.

Would have him, Kightly, Jarvis and Fletcher.....has scored goals in the prem and would be a decent alternative to Lambert should we be without him.

I think he's pretty good. As he had only recently retired, he's able to give a better insight than those that haven't been near a dressing room in years. He's also won everything (domestically) so that also helps. I think Ed is a little in love with him though. The way his eyes light up at his little anecdotes and insights is a big give away. Far better than that fat ***** Andy Gray.
