Except we aren't and won't be replacing them all with better players. If we did, we'd have an unbelievable side. Quite clearly, improving the team is not what this is about.

The signs of what's going on have been on show for months now but people have insisted on believing that our actions have been forced upon the club and that we are somehow going to be better off after all this. We are cashing in big time and players are keen to jump ship. This very rarely happens and not to a club which has been on the up for long. There is a Swiss bank account looking very healthy at the moment and this is ultimately what it's all about.

We're a good oppotunity for Koeman and I'm not disputing that but the reality is that if he was a true Champions League pedigree manager, he wouldn't be here now, 15 odd years into his coaching career.

Well the fact is that MLG claims that Koeman has the best pedigree of any manager we have ever appointed. On that basis, it's a fair enough question to ask....why Saints? If Champions League quality players don't want to play for us, why would a Champions League quality manager. Koeman looks a good appointment considering the options available but some of the comments about his appointment have been a little OTT.
