People care about what happens at our club. People care about seeing the best possible players play for us and be entertained and rewarded for the support which they provide. All you have to resort to is probabilities and sensationalised garbage about people panicking and wetting the bed. I'm sat here perfectly relaxed, discussing my club on a dedicated forum.

It was a simple and quick way to get a board together. Kreuger was clearly a disaster and seems to have been sidelined. I doubt he is up to anything Saints related at the moment. Whatever people say about Rodgers, the fact is that the guy as very little credentials as a CEO and doesn't appear to have much leadership presence. Kat just needs to keep things ticking over with her lawyer by her side.

It's in Kat's interest to ensure that the club maintains Premier League status in the short term, the spend on Koeman and any players brought in is easily covered by the huge amounts of TV money by itself. The quick sale of the most valuable players still gives her a huge net return but none of it is in any way for the benefit on field success . The investment into infrastructure like the training ground was signed off years ago when Kat wasn't involved, it just needs paying for now. If it wasn't already progressing, I doubt she would bother.

She could have got rid of Cortese or looked for more control at any time but didn't until January. Cortese always seemed realistic about Saints stature and spoke about achieving things in different ways. He spent what was required to get us from L1 to the Prem and at no time did I ever think spending was grotesque or obscene. A lot of investment and work also went into infrastructure with an eye on the future as well. My guess is that he wanted to continue doing what was working well for the club but saw the writing on the wall as soon as Kat stepped into the board room. Who would want to stick around and watch years of work unravel around you?

People seem pretty adamant there is nothing which we could do in preventing the sale of up to 6 first team players. Thank god it's only 6 and not 11 seeing as there is nothing a club can do with contracted professional footballers. Assume everyone will feel sorry for Morgan if he is denied a move?
