  1. So we have to let anyone who wants to leave go? How is that a good thing for us? Which other teams across Europe would contemplate selling 4-5 star players in one window and why? If that happens, it's 100% the boards fault. I can't believe that anyone would see that different.
  2. What an almost comically weird thread this could turn out to be
  3. Agree, first and fore most we have to do what's right for the club, selling off your influencial players and changing a manager in a summer would be too much to handle for most clubs. I fully expected us to lose one or two but if we allow more to leave, next season won't be pretty. It would just all be needless really.
  4. All the clues have been there for a while. Too many unsettled players and a willingness for the board not to stand in anyones way. You have to wonder what the board think we can achieve out of it all if it isn't about money.
  5. I think so too Jeff
  6. Hope you copied this post, you might need to keep trotting it out before all our main players leave
  7. Well lets hope he's judged to same standards by those on here at least
  8. How do people feel about Ralf lying to the fans yesterday? Still blameless in all of this?
  9. I don't care what they say, I just want them to close the shop doors.
  10. Because Lambert is better and nothing like Carroll?
  11. Keep clutching
  12. Saints first. We can't excuse our most important players leaving because we somehow owe it to them all. They didn't need to keep signing contracts with us.
  13. Another player who we apparently "owe" a move to.
  14. **** 9M. It's Rickie Lambert FFS.
  15. Once Victor meets the new marketing manager from Apple and the exciting new CFO, his tune will change.
  16. When asked about the communication of our strategy within the club he talks about a marketing person from Apple and an "exciting" CFO ( ) and that Poch and the players can see all that happening. Come on, what manager or player is going to look at that type of thing and think "this club is going places"? I know it's all stuff that Ralph is more involved in but he can't start linking progress to that type of thing when all anyone cares about at the moment is the first team.
  17. But not much lower than what we were spending in the last two seasons really. If you're not prepared to spend 20-30M per season at this level, you're in for a tough time.
  18. So about 50M which is more than Pochettino got to spend in a season? How is this our new sustainable model?
  19. What's a decent budget in comparison to the money Pochettino supposedly "spunked"?
  20. Does that apply to Wanyama as well as posters on here?
  21. You've nailed it lad, well done http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?50397-Summer-Survival-Guide#.U4UY73m9K0c
  22. A meeting with Lallana just before departing to Spurs. Could be a simple goodbye though....
  23. Can't knock him too much until you know why he left. My guess would be lack of say around player sales and insufficient funds to replace those that will go. I'm sure his bus ride to wembley with Ralf didn't help, I'd want to leave after an ordeal like that.
  24. Not crying, it's just rain
