That's just a title, it's ultimately a competition for the top teams in all of Europes major leagues and a few from some of the smaller ones. If they just changed it's name to the European Cup, would that make it all better?

Hypo said himself ages ago that Cortese is very much all about player power and ensuring that they are well looked after. Not exactly surprising that the players have some sort of loyalty to him. Even Ramirez gets on with Cortese exceptionally well inspite of not seeing eye to eye with Pochettino. Some people on here just completely embarrassed themselves re Cortese (Clotese, lol) time and time again and will always hold back on admitting the fundamental transformation of our club since he has been here. The default is to just point to the resources he's had but I actually think the structure and philosophy from top to bottom is the main benefit, lots of club have money but still royaly **** things up.

Still amazing at we have at least 3 players in contention for the WC. If someone had said as much a year ago, they would have been called a mental happy clappy deluded wally.

His technical ability isn't a problem at all but as with most 18 year olds, he is struggling at times with the physical aspect of the game. Been a little unlucky in that he is the one hauled off when we've had to change our attacking set up. Quality player IMO but needs to identify his position and role over the next couple of seasons.

So we loan him out for him to get matches and then he isn't here and available when we need him, making our sauad weaker in the process? Doesn't make sense to me. He's only 18, playing prem matches and training with a prem squad every day. Not sure what use a loan would be, he's got ready for our first team without the need for a loan already.

If people got wind of a player doing that, they would be out for blood.

Not sure why people think that if a player is deemed not fit to start that they shouldn't be on the bench? Why should it be that black and white?

Why would a loan to the Championship help him? He's already shown that he is prem class.
