Adam has a free role on the pitch and drifts where he can influence the game which is a big part of his success with us. He wouldn't get that anywhere else (in terms of big teams ) and at Utd, he would probably be confined to a wing role or worse, a CM role.

Not sure what the big deal is, plenty of players who are not 100% are benched and not risked. Don't understand why people are reading too much into it.

Point is, it doesn't matter if Jose was on the bench or not. He didn't train last week so obviously not considered as a starter. The issue we have it not who is on the bench but the fact that when the combination of Gazza, Jos and Fox come in, our chances of any positive result in a game is significantly reduced.

We do get results against better sides, if we did in all we'd be at the next level. Just a tough run of games without our best players to choose from. Not sure what else people expect.
