Would expect Moyes to be the first call.
-
All these managers are running scared cause the Saints are back, pretty obvious. Would expect Moyes to end up there, the managerial merry go round continues...we're going to be the only club in the PL with the same manager at this rate.
-
Very reminiscent of his other exits. The going gets tough, the money dries up, he has to start selling big players before he can buy - he then legs it. The new manager comes in and then has to control the finances which are usually left in a right mess by his ''wheeling and dealing''. Not sure where Spurs go from here as Modric is also off for sure.

Now watch Spurs fall apart.
-
Confirmed by the BBC.
-
Don't think so. Derry mentioned that he may have been staying at a Chillworth Hotel, but no one else has confirmed as yet.

Nice to see that MLG tried to kill the thread. I reckon we'll have Everton away, just a gut feeling.

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

Press talk I'd imagine, we certainly don't need another striker! -
You're watching the wrong Euro's! Been pretty exciting for me. The Spanish and Italian game was very intriguing, the dutch game was entertaining. Didn't think much of the Germany /Portugal game though. Our game was interesting from a tactical sense as we actually played a certain game plan, it wasn't just hit and hope for a change. No goalless draws so far though, lots of instances, goals, drama...can't really complain! It's light years better than the world cup in 2010.

Gary Mellor fronts up the agency company (he's the director), but Akinbyi is a member of their staff.
-
Really? Blimey, that would be a random change....guess that means scrapping the playoffs in a couple of the qualifying groups and having 2 go through from each group??
-
Great goal. Love these Euro's, every match has been excellent.

To be fair, even if the link to the Jay Rod thing is ridiculous, it's the sort of signing we'd make. Foreign, out of the blue etc.

BBC website finally admits we are premier league...

Jeez Alpine. -
ah, didn't know he had the same agent, interesting. Mr Akinbyi could be in for a nice double agent fee here.

Still not 100% sure what to make of Nixon, will watch this one from afar!

Would have to say that the first round of games are better than anything in the world cup. This has been a terrific tournament so far, really enjoying it.

This is something that's still going on. I watch my brother who is part of a youth team and I went to a tournament at Totton a few weekends back, one of the guys in one of the teams had real skil - used the ball well and had really nice technique and skill to get out of situations, as a coach you'd think we'd want to encourage that. but no, I heard the coach say to him ''Stop farting about with the ball and all the fancy things, just get it up there''. If that's the mentality at that level then we haven't got a chance.
-
To be fair, that was better than I and most probably expected. We look very, very hard to beat and you can see us frustrating many teams. The french had a funny set up though, for Benzema being the striker he spent more time outside of the box than inside and that's why you often had them hitting pot shots, so in that sense I think they made it easy for us to defend but we still did it pretty well. We did carry a threat, albeit a slim one. Milner didn't effect the game in any way and Chamberlain didn't get enough of the ball, but when he did have it he was easily our dynamic and exciting player. Welbeck work his arse off I thought, not much quality but worked hard. Parker was the best player for us though, awesome shift int he middle. He was the reason we were so hard to play through. We will cause Sweden and Ukrane problems, but I think every game will be pretty tight.
-
Seems like the media are already blaming the 'heat' for us dropping back. Errr, don't the french have to deal with it too??
-
Milner just has to be the most predictable winger I have ever seen. When full backs see him on the oppo side, they know they can have an easy afternoon. I personally think he'll turn into a CM in time, but he's just too predictable that it's painful at times.

Remember that game at Wembley a year or so ago? they took us apart for 90mins, the gulf was embarrasing.

I still think Chambo is the better player.
