Lot of excuses in there tbh......we didn't deserve a thing and we didn't lose because we were hard done by or because the pitch was ****, we lost because we had an inept day where we all forgot how to play football.
-
We're still top you idiot. We haven't lost the title, stop over reacting like you always do. We have reading at home to sort that out. Believe.
-
Glad someone noticed Guly, I thought he put in a decent shift amongst the ****. Butterfield and Chaplow looked like sunday league players.
-
Inept, but let's forget about it and move on. Hopefully the players do to, because dwelling on that performance will kill us. It was the worst i've seen us play in a long time, so suprised by that display. Didn't expect that at all. If teams press us and lambert isn't in the team we struggle big time as we have no out ball. Let's hope he's back asap.
-
We won't though, so Don't worry. The players need to forget this one, and so do we after we spend a few hours going over it. 1 bad result does not make a season
-
We'll be fine, but losing like that is an utter ****ter.
-
There wasn't a single good performance out there. Sharp looked awful and no worth the money we paid for him, the defence were all over the shop, the midfield were no where to be seen when it mattered and the width wasn't there - Lallana was awful. Chappers will probably not play again this season after that first half, he didn't look like a footballer. De Ridder came on and again, made no impact at all. Worst display of the season by a mile, clueless in so many positions. Luckily we'll still probably go up because we've done so well bar thsi result - but we need to forget this quickly, because if we play like that regularly we will finish 3rd - but I still think we'll be fine.

Remember Millwall.....?
-
Just a bit of fight, we've shown nout so far. I don't want to see us thrashed.
-
Good post. We need to see a bit of fight because it's been lacking so far, but in the context of everything loosing this isn't the end of the world. It's a frustrating set back....but a couple of wins over easter and we're almost there. Still totally ****ed with our display today though.

Lambert has had operation and will miss rest of season. (Rumour)

He's key to how we play. I don't think we're a one man team as such because we do have other quality players, but he's such a key man for us. The long balls we're hitting up top today are pointless and we have no one to hold it up. Unless we change our game plan we will struggle if he's out long-term. -
Jos well out of position and at fault for the 2nd goal.
-
It's been a long long time since I've seen us pass up a penalty that poorly.
-
ok that's that over with then, thank god. It can only get better from here I guess. Not sure why they're praising the B/P keeper for savign the penalty, it was **** and anyone could have saved it. We haven't really turned up to be fair, and their frotn 3 are just too quick and sharp for us. Hammond should come on for Morgan who has been poor today. SDR for Chaplow and let's stretch the game a bit.
-
Would agree with that, midfield has been a non-event so far.
-
horrendous passing and ball retention, not like us at all.
-
To be fair, Guly has been more involved than Sharp.
-
jeez, chaplow has been **** today and our passing is well off.
-
It's like the Leeds game....but without the luck.
-
Nope not at all, but it doesn't stop us saying we've been pretty horrific today so far!
-
Should have been onside, easily.
-
Let's just get to HT at just 2-0 please.....then we can regroup and work out WTF we do from here...
-
More defefencivley i was referring too. We're getting pulled all over the place by silly little balls and we look so poor at the back. and there we go again.....this will be a massacre if we don't sort this out.
-
This is as bad as I've seen us all season. We look clueless today.
-
Here we go then, the stage is set for a huge one tonight. Bring it on.
