Crawley are already minted though, and reinvested every penny of the tubbs deal straight away into Frank Nouble from West Ham.

I don't see our club doing that at all. Conners has been more regular this year than I ever thought he would be, and Barnard was given a new 3 year deal in the summer - but has been out injured unfortunately. Don't think the club are casting them off at all.

Sky Sports are really milking it today. In general terms today is as dead as most of the transfer window has been, yet they're making such a big deal out of the likes of Saha to Spurs and Jelavic to Everton is their leading story! Says it all about this window really! TBH we're probably looked upon from the outside as having an excellent transfer window, and I'd have to agree. Better and more active than most.

No real rush tbh. Would be sensible to hang onto him until we've got the likes of Punch, De Ridder and Lallana back up to full fitness. He can then go out in the loan window, similar to what will happen to a few of our players IMO.

People said right back was a problem in the summer. In fact people said Lambert wouldn't do it at this level. How many people would have expected Russell Martin to be performing very well for Norwich in the premier league? Exactly. With the right coaching he is a very very capable player, as we've seen this year. Probably what I'd call our ''unglamorous'' player of the year so far.

Ignore him. He's behind the times. He said ''Collins set to sign for Southampton'' after everyone else was saying it had fallen through. So no surprise that he's now reporting he's snubbed us, after others are reporting we're back in for him.

TBF if it's a loan deal then he can sign from Thursday onwards too.

I don't think they'll get the most out of him playing the way they do. Just my opinion.... but with Vaz Te, Eduardo and possibly maynard they're obviously trying to add pace
