jeez, and cork. shocked I missed him! makes his point even more weak tbf.

What a manager says means nothing. If a club comes in with a big enough bid, he will be sold.
-
Hammond will be back, no worries. Morgan is suspended for this one. Agree with your team too.

I think I heard a while back that he'd returned to some sort of training, but I'm not sure on his current state. He started the season well for us, but I wouldn't say we're missing him. Hoovield is a much better player and is also left sided allowing us to play out. I kind of feel sorry for Dan because he had a real shot to become a first team regular in a top championship team taken away from him, I'm not sure he's ever going to get that back again.

Including SDR in that list is absolutely stupid. He's on another level to all of those players. I also notice that you conveniently miss out Chaplow, Hoovield and Fox. I would say he's matching our ambitions so far, and whilst this month has been very poor in terms of points returns, you cannot ignore the previous months when we certainly were marching on... Everyone makes mistakes, but you only want to focus on those for some reason and you ignore all the good things he's brought to us in the time he's been here. Personally the speed of the turnout since MK Dons away a year or so ago is immense and quicker than anyone could have imagined, and Adkins has played a massive role in that.

He's definitely trying too hard at the moment, he doesn't seem as sure about himself on the ball.. Looking back at the start of the season in the games against Ipswich and Brum etc, he did things first time. Took a shot on the volley, passed first time.....now he wants to take an extra touch all the time, and 9/10 that just kills the situation dead because defenders read that. Also to be honest I think alot of teams have come up with game plans against him, which is simply to surround him whenever he gets the ball so he cannot release it quickly. That was his strength early on, being able to receive and release the ball within a split second and it opened up so many avenues for us. (but then he also needs the movement from midfield, so that he has someone to quickly release too - which isn't happening as much as it did when Chaplow was in the team)

I assume you're getting at Martin. He isn't our most cultured CB in a long way and his distribution isn't great, but it's a bit harsh to say he isn't a footballer. First and foremost he defends and defends pretty well when ever i've watched him. Not many fans worry when he's named in the team and I think that speaks volumes in it's self.

Missing for the Southampton game are Vincelot, Barnes, Dunk & Navarro suspended; Calderon, Painter, Noone, Vicente, Hoskins, Elphick, Dicker out injured; Cook on loan at Bournemouth.
-
wouldn't hold out much hope in that, they haven't scored in what feels like years. nice to see that Clottrill is doing such an astute job there.
-
Seriously re: Connolly? That's mental. why do you want to get rid of him? surely what we saw in the first few months of the season demonstrated why we did well to get him to sign last year.
-
come on forest, score a goal ffs....
-
thank you p'boro you legends. This league makes no sense, and as a football fan it's a ****ing fun ride isn't it? give me this over mid-table nothingness drawing with the likes of Stoke.
-
Villa 3-1 up at Chelsea. They paid £14m for their manager....a tad overpriced maybe...? He's been a total fail so far.
-
or the big one.....that he's actually going to sign!
-
Doubt they'd be able to do that in enough time for him to be available for Monday....even if they wanted to.

Brighton are in a very, very bad way. They will struggle to put out a team to play us, it will likley to contain a number of development/youth players as they don't have the squad. I wouldn't drop De Ridder, he's been excellent over xmas IMO - he gives us that spark. The only change up front for me would be Guly for Connolly. TBF though, with the problems brighton have and their lack of any players, if we cannot win there I will start to get worried.
-
blimey. they don't have any CB's in reserve either afaik, so it will be the development squad against us.
-
Isn't that a 2 match ban in that case? Greer is the CB on 4 bookings though and now reading have scored...! they're closing on us!
-
cardiff lead - ****!

Boro winning not suprised

Has MLG just been MLG'd....?
-
I'd imagine it'll be a loan signing, after his deal @ Wycombe expires. Doubt Fulham will sell after seeing his potential.
-
yeh, following it at the mo. Sounds like it's only a matter of time, but it could quite easily be a game whereby they don't take their chances...and we all know how potent p'boro are in scoring on the break.
-
they're just lost another play for our game. Navaarro with his 5th yellow
-
they are in a very bad way it has to be said.
