  1. I do like Seaborne, but he does give me the jitters at times as he can make the wrong decisions. But that can be coached out of him, he's still only 21 i think. Having him in the team allows us to play from the back, he impressed me on Saturday with how he passed the ball from the back, he didn't always look to just hoof it. It does help that he's left footed, as he doesn't have to switch his position, he can just play it as soon as it comes to him. I think he gives us much more defensive balance. I can see why Pardew bought him, he has got good ability - but is prone to lapses which should be easy to coach out of him.
  2. just saw the free-kick that was given in the buildup to their first goal. W.T.F.
  3. they haven't. been confirmed a few weeks back that they did not send the documentation through to UEFA in time to even be considered, if there was a possibility. so that place will go to the 7th place team afaik.
  4. even more, how the feck did spurs not get that goal at 1-0.
  5. it's to do with a certain amount of games they play, as it triggers payments for their loan players. i.e they'd have to pay £4m for Dindane . ****s.
  6. bale does not deserve to be on the losing team.
  7. oh well, ******s spurs for not turning up total bottlers.
  8. one man show by bale, glad he's doing well tbh.
  9. let the onslaught begin then...
  10. fact, was confirmed by them a few weeks back
  11. i wouldn't, let chelski do that.
  12. bloody hell, how bad are spurs
  13. fantastic ability by bale, ****** ref. for disallowing it.
  14. take a look at yourselves spurs....an utter utter disgusting display by them. how on earth they are challenging for 4th is beyond me. ****ing north london yobos
  15. oh the jammy ******s have scored.
  16. **** sake bale...unlucky
  17. how on earth Bentley ever commanded an £18m fee is beyond me.
  18. i thought he was pretty rubbish tbf, lots of tricks/quick feet, but very very little end product at the end of it. I'd rather persevere with Antonio, who has better attributes IMO.
  19. but your view is a bit silly, as you've put all of the bad results into one pot without actually trying to understand the stage the team was at, or when in the season we got those results. The -10 and the start killed us (where 60-70% of those results occurred), after we got over that and into October, we have had similar form to that of Norwich/Millwall/Swindon over the course of the season. If that doesn't convince people that we'll be pushing next season, i don't know what will. There is currently very little wrong with this football club in the grand scheme of things - so enjoy it. It's all well and good at quoting the ''SO MANY POINTS BEHIND NORWICH'' line - but try to understand exactly why we are, and it's not because we're ****.
  20. Gillingham away will be tough though, their home form is all that's keeping them above the bottom 4 - they are in the top 20 in the entire country with their home form, so it's not a banker by any means. I think we'll probably beat rovers, I've got question marks over the yeovil one though. We should win it...but we should have won at Tranmere and Exeter etc...just seems to be engraved in the makeup of saints!
  21. think we can do better tbh, he's just an average lower league RB with pace...
  22. you're right, i'm a pillock.
  23. fair point, my maths is pants at the best of time. i'll get my coat.
  24. don't forget our GD people - it's +31, Huddersfield have +18 after today. So that in it's self is an extra point. 7 points off with a game in hand it is then
