  1. Took 2 hours 20 to get there from soton central! and that was standing up the entire journey....but it made the atmopshere i guess, everyone just got on with it.
  2. failed a fitness test ahead of the game - so he must have been quite close to playing, so i'd guess he'll be concidered for the brighton game. he looked fine during the celebrations anyway!
  3. Lallana will be here, i'd expect him to sign a new contract in the summer. A lesson that the grass isn't always greener was in the ground y/day, in the form of Surman. I know drew was kind of forced out the door - but it kind of demonstrates why he should stay. He is not PL standard yet. I feel sorry for drew though. Gets the move to the PL - plays reserves and sits on the bench - and then sits in the crowd watching your previous team win a cup final.
  4. i love him!
  5. Such a good and consistant player. 7's every week, and then you still get the odd 8/9 from him as well. Signing of the season on a free.
  6. Mexican wave out.
  7. what was the problem? after the 158th time it was a bit boring, but it was a good laugh - are we just supposed to sit around and wait for FT? the game was won by then.
  8. Between Fonte and Harding for me, but because Harding wasn't actually playing in his natural position - he gets it. also a bit of appreciation for Millsy, who i thought played really well today. It was a big game for him - and he looked assured and did all the right things. superb.
  9. What a great day, loved every minuite of it. From the atmosphere on the train and the tube on the way there, to lifting the trophy at the end of it - fantastic. Game was great - i think the scoreline flattered us slightly, but who cares??? it was just a fantastic day. Harding was my MOTM - you'd think he has been a RB for his entire career, totally fautless and he's def. 2nd in the player of the season poll for me. so what if it's ''only'' the JPT... how good is it to see Southampton celebrating and lifting a cup? It just doesn't happen to us! Let this be the start of something, because everyone saw today what a massive club this is. The potential is enormous. loved the stadium, i was in block 537 and the view was still excellent from all the way up there. Really easy to get in and out and had no problems queuing for anything really - top stuff. all in all - won't forget this in a while! superb day.
  10. Suprised I'm reading this. Heard no booing at all in block 537. Just a great big cheer??
  11. In my seat now. Block 537 up with the gods but still a fantastic view. Can't wait!
  12. Don't think we can rely on stockport... Millwall 3 - 0 Stockport
  13. there's a real buzz around soton today, if you get the chance to go out and about. lots of cars with the flags, flags/scarves hanging out of windows and everyone you speak to seems to be going...! After all the years we've had, what a great change it makes to see the atmosphere that's being built up. i honestly cannot wait... and also everyone you seem to speak to is getting the damn 6:55am train. that will be a bit of a squash.
  14. i'm getting that train from central too. i was aiming to get there by about 6:40-6:45, i know alot of other people who have opted for the 8:25 one, i don't think the early one will be too cramped. (hope i haven't spoken too soon)
  15. my ticket says the entrance opens from 11:15am.
  16. You should be able to go from Waterloo onto the Bakerloo line - which will take you all the way there. I've had a look on the planned works, and most of the lines are closed at some point on Sunday, but Bakerloo seems to be fully operational all day and that takes you straight to wembley central. Departing: Sunday 28 March 2010 at: 09:12 From: Waterloo To: Wembley Central Departing: Sunday 28 March 2010 at: 10:12 From: Waterloo To: Wembley Central (both of those are direct - no changes/buses)
  17. Well that was hard work. We didn't' play well at all tbh, we got off the hook after a really really slow start. 2 of our goals came from their individual mistakes , but thankfully we have players in our team that can punish teams when they screw up. Hats off for Hartlepools 2nd goal though, a wonder strike from 25-30 yards into the top corner - unstoppable. Not too sure on Seaborne and Mills tonight, they kept going for the same balls time and time again and we looked a bit shaky every time they attacked. A win is a win though! - and pleased Colchester dropped points, playoffs are still very unlikely though.
  18. sorry - but when did Gillett last have pace? he wouldn't do a job there anyway, not good enough for either CM - pard's has made that clear. In his pre-match interview pardew did actually say he is considering bringing at RB in on loan, so i guess we'll watch this space.
  19. Leeds are in a total total mess, both on and off the field. Beckford was dropped due to his non-performance v us last weekend. So responded by storming out of the ground. Kisnorbo out for the rest of the season. Chants at Elland road of ''Sack the board'' and ''Bates/Grayson out'' they have bottled it big time. I expect them to finish 3rd/4th and lose in the playoffs. They're not exactly flush with cash either, so expect them to sell their big names in the summer - we should be stronger than them next season.
  20. Hoolahan was already at Norwich, he was a bit-part player in their championship squad - i think they bought him from Blackpool, for something like 150-200k.
  21. Just listened to pards pre-match interview.. James is injured, Otsemebor is too - and obviously murty and Thomas are, so we will possibly see Harding continue at RB tomorrow night. Also Lallana is a doubt with a hamstring injury (i think thats what he said), and Jaidi still has a knock - so i doubt we'll risk either of those before Sunday.
  22. well he's the only one who seems to be able to do the easy stuff in our side...!! I'm sure if he was belting in 30 yarders every game and setting up goals with raking passes, he'd be raved about. That's not all football is about though, you need someone to do the ''easy'' stuff as you put it. if he went, we would be worse off. There is no chance we will be able to replace him with a player of similar quality unless we are in the premiership. That's how highly i rate him - i'm not sure why others don't...
  23. all you need to do is rename Rob Lloyd to Tony Lynam and you have Pinnacle, it's like someone is playing a big joke on them - because it's identical.
  24. oh **** off, bloody moron. we don't need your support.
  25. Let's hope you actually keep your promise this time and sod off to Arsenal.
